"Went here with family 1st visit for a long time, very nice finish to the interior of the Pub itself. Very comfy surroundings and cosy atmosphere, open plan ceiling with lovely exposed wooden beams. Staff very attentive and shown to table quickly on arrival, was asked if we had any allergies before we ordered which was good. Not too busy for a mid week visit, but already had some shortages on the menu which is always a shame to hear. The menu is quite varied with good selection to accommodate most people. I had the Chicken leek and bacon pie which was ok, if I was too be picky it was slightly overcooked which made the pie crust quite hard. It was served on top of mashed potato, and served with vegetables and gravy. Well the vegetables were well overcooked and there was not a lot of them either, I always find that these places do not give a very generous portion of vegetables. When you consider they go on about making sure you eat your 5 a day, I am sorry but this falls far short of that, and it is one of the cheaper items on you're plate could do better. On saying that I will return at sometime and give it another go, but not in the immediate future. Parking: Car park is over the road, but it's very dark on the winter nights. Kid-friendliness: Didn't see any kids so not sure if they do kids menu, you would have to call and check."

Family lunch with my mum and boyfriend. Richard, our waiter was attentive/Superb. Great atmosphere, they had a wedding reception there, while we were there. The restaurant was quite busy.

It was an en-spec visit, I hadn't booked. Everyone gave a very friendly helpful service, with great carvery served in no time at all. Very good ale. Attractive venue with beams a TV to watch WC Final next to a roaring fire!

A nice pub to eat and drink. The staff are friendly and attentive. The choice of drinks is good and comparable to similar types of venue. The food choice is very limited, however are meals were well prepared and nice. All in all this is a nice place to come for ab occasional meal or special occasion.

Nice Sunday roast, we had lamb shank with gammon and nut roast. Broccoli and red cabbage was delicious. Lamb soft and tender. Service was excellent, made us feel welcome. Crayons and colouring pages given to the children, which they loved. The building has high ceilings, lovely beams, and nice green areas around the facility.

Myself and our family went out for Christmas dinner we had a lovely afternoon. Unfortunately to members of my family were unhappy with the food. And sent it back I would like to apologise for their shameful behaviour I had the same meal they had and it was lovely. Sorry again we will not be bringing them with us anymore. Nice looking pub with friendly staff. Convenient location for MK Bowl. Good selection of drinks and some local ales. Ordered hummus and bread from the sharing menu and it came with one piece of bread. We were left with quite a bit of hummus as it wasn't possible to eat all of it with half a slice of bread each. Did speak to a member of staff and was told that's just the way it comes. Would go back but not order from the sharing menu.

What an exceptional experience to have on Christmas Day 2021! From the moment I placed the booking, Tracie and Richard were exceptionally communicative, accommodating and great hosts. This was the first time we had been out on Christmas Day for lunch in years, and it did not disappoint. There were ten of us and we all agreed, the food was delicious; absolutely enormous servings, great Christmas table décor and warm atmosphere. Our waitress Lisa was so helpful, nothing was too much trouble with a super sense of humour. We had a last minute request to change a main meal for personal reasons, and the Chef accommodated this without issue. What a team he must have in the kitchen too. We loved it...
