"Came in for lunch, looked at the menu as given to us and not informed that numerous things were missing. When ordering we was told there was no lobster for the prawn and lobster cocktail but we still ordered it. I ordered the Henry burger that is a 25.00 burger so you expect something decent. The burgers were dry and over cooked, short rib burgers should be bubbling with juices but no,chicken was dryish and chewy, no gammon and the fried egg was way overcooked. I get that it's a big feat making something like this but everything tasted precooked and thrown on the grill to bring up to a higher temperature. Items were definitely left in a merry chef or some kind of hot hold. I personally would not recommend this burger but the others look quite nice and a bit easier to make. I wasn't going to quibble as it is what it is and the staff seemed sufficient for the job. Very hit and miss here as my brother in law had a great meal last week but as an ex chef maybe my standards are a little bit higher... Who knows !"

Had a fabulous experience here. The food was excellent and a wide range of gluten free for those with these requirements. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. I would highly recommend here for food and service.

Lovely place to go for good quality food and atmosphere. Ideal after a great walk or any other occasion. Only a 10 minute walk from Old Farm Park. Catered for the dogs with their own water bowls. Well done and definitely the best food in the Milton Keynes area and very reasonably priced

We booked for a family birthday and must say the waiter was so attentive and welcomed us warmly. The Soup of the day was simply delicious and stayed hot for a good while. I am giving four stars because although the majority of the food was tasty except the vegan sausages which were overcooked, and chips did not taste fresh. But five stars to the waiter who looked after our party of 14. Many thanks.

I was in the catering business for years having catered for European Union. There’s no doubt this place is a country pub offering delicious, locally sourced ingredients. What sums it up for me was the Beef Wellington how well it’s done. Not many restaurants and pubs cater this English traditional dish. The portions are huge, the place is relaxing and the staff bend their back for you. I left my red scarf over there and one of the staff members remembered me when I’ve only been there once. It’s no doubt they have built a close community vibe with their customers which you don’t find in chained restaurants. We come all the way from Watford just to have a meal in this place. Absolutely beautifu...

"Heading to the near Craufurd Arms for a gig and looking for something to eat beforehand we happened across Zouk Lounge quite by accident and as we all enjoy Lebanese food decided to give it a try after first checking that there was plenty of veggie options (which there was) as 2 of our 3 strong party are vegetarian. Gabriella (from Romania) was our charming waitress who seated us and was very informative when it came to enquiring about the various veggie options on offer. She recommended the ‘Lobia’ dish to me (Lebanese spiced whole green beans cooked with fresh tomato sauce) which I then ordered whilst my brother and our friend also choose veggie options and we then decided to share these amongst us all and also decided to add a couple of side dishes. Very impressed with all the food served to us; all freshly cooked, nicely presented, tasted delicious and served to us in a timely fashion. No complaints. After dinner Gabriella enquired if we’d like to relax in their Shisha lounge located at the rear of the restaurant whilst she prepared a shisha pipe and some aperitifs for us. We accepted her offer and retired to the shisha lounge. Once Gabriella had served our aperitifs she enquired as to whether I would like to take control of the music in the lounge over their Bluetooth connection which I gladly excepted and we enjoyed ourselves so much that we decided to stay a little longer for another round of cognac and G T’s before we headed off to the nearby gig; only just arriving before the show started in the end as we’d spent nearly a full 2 hours in Zouk Lounge. All in all, a really enjoyable dinner; fantastic food, a charming and friendly waitress (Gabriella) and a real surprise and extra treat to learn of the shisha bar at the rear of the restaurant after our meal. We will definitely be back for a return visit the next time we are in the area."
