Charming village pub that I hope will remain just as lovely! I enjoyed sitting in the beer garden with a drink last Tuesday on a beautiful summer evening. Unfortunately, some irresponsible dog owners nearby were not keeping their pets under control, and one of the dogs decided to relieve itself right by my seat! The owners didn’t seem to notice because they were too wrapped up in their own conversations. It was quite disappointing!

Extremely over priced for quality of food. Clearly microwaved and not freshly cooked. The raspberry roulade is not a roulade. Only a Christmas menu on offer with a very limited choice. Very un-impressed and won’t return. Atmosphere friendly but spoilt by a customer with unfriendly dogs who called his dogs Dicks! Not what I want to be around to be honest when I’m paying for a meal.
