"During my recent visit to this charming pub I was thoroughly impressed by both the quality of the food and the warmth of the service. The culinary highlight was undoubtedly the chili con carne, served with a delightful blend of sour cream, guacamole, and jalapeños – a perfect harmony of flavors. Equally commendable was the burger, accompanied by a side of crisp, perfectly cooked chips. What set this pub apart, however, was not just its food. The staff's friendliness contributed significantly to the welcoming ambiance, a sentiment echoed by the geniality of the fellow patrons. This combination of great food and a congenial environment makes for a truly enjoyable dining experience. An additional practical advantage is the availability of a car park, ensuring convenience for those arriving by vehicle. Given the quality of the experience, I strongly recommend booking in advance to avoid disappointment. This pub is evidently a popular choice among discerning diners, and rightly so. It's a gem that promises both culinary delight and a pleasant atmosphere."

Great place to have a beer in the sun with a sea view. Staff were friendly and the beer selection was good.

Nice to see the playa open again as it's in a fantastic location to relax for dinner or drinks. Menu isn't very big but what has been ordered has been cooked and presented well and definitely makes you feel like returning. Glad to see familiar faces of some staff that are very friendly and welcoming. Will return regularly again

The pub lovely gardens the same but if you want refined dining or good manners don't go here as the Staff leave a LOT to be desired in all manner of ways!!... The most brash female staff I've seen this side of the water and I've seen my fair share over the years would be better suited to a spit and sawdust establishment in old East London for sure ! Still beer cold and plentiful

I have mixed feelings about this place and seem to need to edit my review every visit! After a poor experience on Boxing Day we were back again with friends on 30th and I must say I couldn’t find fault with anything the food was great but also big thanks to Ellie who served us and was an absolute joy, I just wish the rest of the staff would take a leaf out of her book! We mentioned Boxing Day and got a free round of drinks by way of an apology and went away very happy

It was not what we was expecting , it exceeded our expectations by miles I know it has been recently taking on by new owners keep what your doing you ain't going to go wrong, I wish you all GOOD LUCK. Thanks to all the staff who were brilliant as well as the views across The Estuary whilst having your lunch.
