"Visited The Red Lion on two occasions while staying in Alnmouth, on a Monday and Thursday evening. The staff were consistently efficient, helpful, friendly and so welcoming. The food was of a very high standard and the Bailey's cheese cake was absolutely amazing....the best ever!"

We spent the evening in this wonderful homely pub. Gluten free beer on tap! Warm cosy atmosphere. Out go-to drinking place in Alnmouth.

Beautiful little place. Cosy and warm after hours of bike riding. Would like to come back in the summer to use the beer garden. Lovely log burner on the go.

A lovely cosy B&B. Met with a warm welcome and made to feel very welcome throughout. The host couldn't do enough for us, they were great. Would definitely recommend, for those that like a place with a good atmosphere. View menu

I always find this is a great place to eat when I’m visiting the area. It never disappoints. The four of us had a delicious lunch. Service always efficient and friendly. Would definitely recommend the hot beef sandwich.
