"1st visit having read the reviews were looking forward to Sunday lunch. We were a group of 8 felt very comfortable on a large round table set in an alcove. Staff greeted us most helpful, gave us time to order served drinks at the table. The food was excellent, piping hot delicious choices. Seem we hit a change over of staff so did loose their way a little with sweets, additional drinks finally obtaining the bill, but overall a great experience, could recommend would definitely use again. Thanks guys loved it."

We've been here a few times in the past, and the food is always so tasty. I'm on a mission to try more and more stuff every time we go. The chicken Stilton and the cheese and leek bake are definitely my favourite foods here. Both are so amazing and just melt in your mouth. Price per person: £20–30 Food: 5

Food is to die for, absolutely gorgeous. However service is poor. Waiting for long periods of time with empty drinks glasses even though staff were plentiful and stood around a lot. Then we ordered desert, it never came..... the table opposite ordered theres and it came out straight away. We waited for what seemed an eternity then gave it up as a bad job. I had one very disappointed 11 year old and a bad tempered OH to deal with, great thanks!
