bad service terrible eating, I and my family couldn't even finish it the cook is lazy and closed eating service medium meal and overall my experience here was shocking

6 of us went to lunch on Friday. we all ordered various and all meals were freshly prepared and generously portioned. I had a chicken cake that was beautiful. other recommended the leber and speck and nachos. will be coming back soon

fabuolous pub. friendly atmosphere, but we could not park as the dogs walker use the parking lot, so deny the pub of the business. we parked at the end of the road and went back, but we saw two other cars around the entire parking lot. and then go.

came to lunch today, eating was amazing service was nice, pleasant and friendly, I had the steak pipe that was well filled, tasty and plentiful, my partner had the fish cake, the taste was excellent and full of fish the best she ever had. she says both of our friends had the burger, juicy well cooked and juicy will find 100% back....very little.

after a walk around margery woods we had booked in the Sportsmans pub for lunch. there is an extensive menu of pizzas, burgers, pasta and other netzens. the kneipe was quite busy for a Wednesday and the employees were inviting. there was a selection of 4 beer and excellent eating, with good portions. friendly staff, good beer and good food. what do you need more? in any case worth a visit!

My wife I had lunch again here today, the staff were very accomodating as we hadn't booked and turned up on spec . The food was delicious and the portions generous. We both have hearty apetites, and were well fed, I can reccomend...the chicken mushroom pie, with more than enough vegetables. I can only assume those who have left negative reviews went to the wrong place. We are looking forward to our next visit.

This used to be a wonderful, welcoming place until there was apparently a management change in the middle of the lockdown era. The new regime is very disappointing there is little in the way welcome, service is slow and the operation is just generally...disorganised. I have returned three or four times, always in the hope that things might have improved with the benefit of time but unfortunately not. So disappointing and a waste of a lovely location.

Having been recommended we decided to give this a go for a Saturday lunch. Overall I was very impressed. The garlic pizza bread was superb, light and very tasty. Our burgers were very big with lots of chips. Our daughter’s chicken goujons were fresh and...of good quality. Next time I think I will just have a pizza as we were so impressed with the garlic pizza. Oh and lastly if you’re not fond of dogs book for the restaurant as it’s dog free. I visited the sportsman on good Friday with my family. it was a beautiful day, so went for a nice dog walk and then decided to eat there. it was very busy as expected, as it was a bank holiday. that said. I don't think there is an apology for rude personal or contaminated condition. the waitress who dealt with this thema was very apologetic and ordered it immediately. but it should not happen first. covid! the food left much to wish. I've been several times before and always had a good experience. I can only assume that it has changed the hands because our experience left much to wish on good Friday.
