"Had a fabulous last minute stay at The White Lion. Enjoyed a delicious pizza and a couple of pints in the bar. The staff were all lovely and friendly. My room was large, spotlessly clean and had a big bay window. The bed was very comfortable and the room was quiet. Slept like a log! Currently enjoying a coffee from the Nespresso machine in the room whilst catching up on some paperwork, the Wi-fi works!!!! Price per person: £40–50"

4 of us had the sausage and mash and the gravy was really bland and watery, very disappointing for such a lovely cosy pub.
