"Had a beautiful Sunday lunch the beef was hand carved thick slices, the veg was freshly cooked ,my husband raved about the Sticky toffee pudding and he has had plenty to compare ,the staff were all friendly, we were looked after by cici who had a lovely way about her and her customer service was excellent and nothing was too much trouble, this was definitely our first of many trips in the future"

2nd time in just over a week , 1st visit was great but on this occasion service was very slow, food quality was poor but the manager did reduce bill after we explained what the issues were ..

Although it was very quiet due to the current crisis it did not disappoint at all. It was friendly and very relaxed. We enjoyed a lovely lunch. The quality of the food was memorable. The staff were attentive but unobtrusive. First class!

Really good. Everyone followed the restrictions and it felt very safe. The service was spot on and personable. Good, well kept beers. Great food. Chicken and ham pie, with proper ham in it! Affogato for dessert was lovely. A very nice experience all round. Would absolutely recommend.

Love the Yew Tree and the crew! Unfortunately they seem to have a new chef who needs to up his game to the level of the previous chef! My friend and I had the crispy squid which by the time it got to us it was cold, although he wouldn’t accept it was! Apparently the takeaway roast beef was not up to the usual standard!

This was our second visit since reopening following the lockdown. Brilliant staff and wonderful food. We’ve only eaten in the garden but inside looks very nice and looking forward to visiting in the future when inside dining is allowed. Sam is a super host and deserves to have great success with his and his partners business.
