Mr Steve Crawshaw. I have been dining at the Yew Tree for more than three years and can only commend it to all. The food is conistently good and varied and the prices reasonable. Just as important the staff are friendly and f I eel welcome each time I go.Its one of the best restaurants in the region in my view.

Hidden gem. With nights drawn in it's time to take comfort in great food. As a regular at Paul and Cath's restaurant I cannot speak highly enough of the service and exceptional quality of the food with each dish coming with its own nuance. The biggest compliment I can pay is the amount of returning friendly faces always providing a great ambience.

One of the best. I have visited the Yew Tree on many occasions with family and friends and I can't fault the place. We have never been disappointed with the quality and presentation of the food. The staff are always helpful and pleasant. The restaurant has a lovely warm atmosphere making you feel quite at home. I never worry about recommending it to anyone as I know they will enjoy it as much as I do.

What a fantastic place!!!!. I visited the Yew Tree restaurant a couple of weeks ago, and what a friendly and cosy place it was! I loved the open fires! There were 4 of us in the party, and all the meals were as described, hot, and delicous. The food isnt the cheapest, (I can go to Macdonald's anytime for a 99p burger) but it's not expensive and we all thought it was great value for money!. We will certainly be going again and would recommend to anyone! You won't be disappointed!!!!

Super food and service. Visited the Yew tree after countless recommendations from family and friends and not disappointed, from the moment i walked through the door, I was made to feel really welcome and sat beside the cosy log fire. The menu was exciting and it took longer than I anticipated to choose, as a special treat the Yew tree is offering a free desert from their a la carte menu during November. The service and food were excellent and I cannot wait to go back again. Money well spent!

Absolutly Out of This World. As a group of friends who all have children we try to get together once a month for a meal and a catch up (without the kids We recently visited the Yew Tree at Heath Charnock and much to our delight we enjoyed the whole experience. The food, the ambience, the servive were all second to none. We have visited many retaraunts over the years and you would do well to find somewhere that is comparable to The Yew Tree Inn. It really is a must and I recommend anyone, whatever your tastes to visit.

Midweek Lunchtime. Been here before in the evening but decided to pop in at lunchtime. Menu is simple yet varied. Had black pudding in a whisky and mustard sauce, followed by peppered steak pie with hand cut chips and vegetables which were cooked to perfection i.e. not boiled to death but not waved over a pan of water either. Only criticism I could make is that it could have been slightly hotter. My wife had the Lancashire hot pot and we shared a dessert. With drinks and coffees, the bill was less than £37. Service was quick and polite.

Yew Tree Inn Heath Charnock. I recently visited The Yew Tree Inn at Heath Charnock with some friends. Without exception, we were all disappointed with our experience and unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. We waited almost an hour after placing our orders before we were invited to a table. When we were served, we had to ask after some minutes, for our vegetables and potatoes which appeared to have been forgotten. The quality of cooking and presentation was poor, two of us receiving hard and burned food. The kitchen is open to the restaurant leaving our clothes smelling of greasy cooking odours and requiring dry cleaning.

Absolutely First Class. I have dined in most of the area's restaurants and i can categorically state that the Yew Tree is by far the best for value, service and quality. Life is simple you get what you pay for if you want boil in the bag or microwaved meals then don't go to the Yew Tree it is all fresh and cooked in front of your very eyes.
