"One of Alsace's most satisfying gastronomic experiences. Michelin star restaurant, with an exceptionally simple and pleasant service. Far from refined and glamorous restaurants, Au Trotthus makes you comfortable from your entrance to the end. Rich simplicity is incredible. The host distributes love in every detail. Divinely prepared dishes, which are worth the experience of the menu. Regional wines with dishes. (Original view) Uma das but satisfatórias experiências gastronômicas da Alsácia. Restaurante estrela Michelin, com um atendimento exce Enviarmente simple e agradavel. Longe dos restaurantes requintados e glamurosos, o Au Trotthus faz você se sens à vaade do momento que entra até o final. A rica simplicidade é incrível. O anfitrião distribui amor em cada detalhe. Pratos divinamente preparados, vale a experiência do Menu. Vinhos regionais pareando com os pratos."

The food is good, but very expensive and the staff is not friendly. Overall, this is not a return experience. (Original view) The food is good, but highly-priced and the staff are not friendly. Overall not a comeback experience. View menu

The restaurant is cozy and the food is good, but I don't see the reason to repeat. Maybe a bit expensive for what you get. Good wine list. They don't have coffee. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €70–80 Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 View menu

Interesting experience. My friend tried to book a table in this restaurant because it was recommended to us. The person who answered him unpleasantly answered him first to go to their website before reminding him to book. Indeed, the menus would not be cheap. The discussion cut short when Madame told her that we would come with our child. Children are not welcome in this facility. Lived at gourmet restaurants (and yes, some of your colleagues enjoy the children), we have never experienced such a welcome where we went to eat in the world.

Delicious food, and superb wines (even if the white is sometimes served too cold). The tastes are refined, the pairings precise and tasty. For that alone, you have to eat there once. The quality-price ratio is questionable (quantities, accompaniment), but these are exceptional products. What hasn't been is the reception. Service relaxed, but almost too much; and yet a little distant (going and returning to the table a little hastily; it's good not to harass the customer, but asking about their wishes seems to me a good idea). The room smelled slightly of stale tobacco. When your nostrils are sharp, it's unpleasant; Fortunately it happened during the meal.

"L'Alchemille is a 1 star Michelin restaurant located in the Alsatian village of Kaysersberg. The menu here is a surprise, you just get to choose between 5, 7 or 9 course. The chef will gives what what he wants, what's fresh that time in his garden, and what he feels like cooking. I like the element of surprise so it wasn't an issue. Before you're asked if there are any ingredients you don't eat, or if you have any allergies,Service is good, not so much fluent in English but in a way or another you get to communicate. Wine list is good and includes wines for everyone's budget, somellier is more towards selling expensive wines, but he knows his job.Dinner kicked off with a bottle of Cremant,a nicely presented amouse bouche and fresh bread, It then followed with a variety of dishes which included potato mousse, beef tomato with basil snow. deer tartare, salmon, mustard zabaion, pigeon leg, munster and 2 desserts. The star of the night was the beef tomato with herbs and basil snow, followed by the pigeon with glazed peas, carrot puree and pigeon juice. To finish off we were given some petit fours, not bad but it can be improved. We later had a chat with chef Jerome Jaegle who surely has a passion for what he does, and no wonder he was awarded a Michelin star, his creativity on a daily basis is something few can do and maintain such a standard.Total came to around €130 including mid priced wine, 9 course is reasonably priced at €78.If you're in the area, it's a place you'd love to visit. I'll be back."
