"We stayed days in Augsburg. The first evening of our stay we had diner at Berghof. After this first evening it was clear the other evenings we would go for eating there again. The food is all prepared freshly with fresh ingredients. You...can simply taste the quality. They have a not too extensive menu card (which is an indication of freshly prepared dishes) with a lot of variety of Bavarian highlights. The team that serves you and prepares the dishes is professional and very kind to there customers. We were there during Corona period. They implemented and executed the Corona safety measures in a very clear way. Without any doubt, if we visit Augsburg or are nearby: this is the nr for us to go eating."

During our road trip we stopped at Augsburg for dinner and find this restaurant with positive atmosphere and polite personnel. They explained in English everything we didn’t understand and helped us to choose our plates. The food was really excellent!!! Sausage, local spaghetti, meat...I don’t...remember the name of each plate but If you visit this restaurant, I am sure that the server will help you for your food preferences! Bravo Berghof!!!!!

Went here for lunch. I must say I do not understand the rave reviews that currently make the restaurant the no. choice in all of Augsburg. There is much better food to be had elsewhere in town. Specifically: the cabbage salat was far too...salty, the suckling pig, too dry (it looked like the pieces had been cut up earlier and left out). In the potato salad, there were huge chunks of uncut potatoes.The Kaiserschmarrn was a fairly dense kind of torn-up cake (admittedly the taste was nice), not the light and fluffy dessert it is meant to be. Street parking in the neighborhood can be a challenge, there is no parking lot.
