"Very disappointing visit for lunch as although the cafe itself was big and very clean and reasonably comfortable the menu was boring and the sandwiches which we had were nothing short of purely monotonious, made and served with nothing except the chosen filling on boring bread, no salad or crisps eg added to the plate or into the sandwich itself. Smacked of easy, use chicken and add it into whatever sauce the customer has chosen and slap it on brown or white bread. The soup we had was really nice and I would give them full marks for this but alas would not return I am sorry to say and we had made a special trip from Fife to visit the garden centre"

Has a lovely afternoon tea this afternoon. And big shout out to the member of staff who cleared up the floor when my friend accidentally knocked over her teapot. He was so kind and understanding.

Lovely food and service, the quiche and salad was really good and my wife said she really enjoyed the steak pie (packed full of meat) Prices are slightly more expensive than the norm…and I refused to buy a wee bottle of irn bru at £2.45 !… what a mark up on that.

I have always enjoyed going to this restaurant for coffee and a scone in the afternoon, but recently I noticed a change. The scones used to be covered, but now they are displayed on a cake stand in the open. This makes me uncomfortable as people in the line walk by very closely. It's a bit off-putting.

I took my two daughters out for afternoon tea on Mother's Day and I must say, it was a fantastic experience. The food and service were top-notch. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, creating a wonderful atmosphere. I especially loved the memory tree with the charming little plants as an extra touch. View menu

We made a reservation for Christmas Lunch and we were blown away by the top-notch service and meal! The soup choices and prawn cocktail starters were fantastic, and the Christmas main course was the best I've ever had in a restaurant. We all had a wonderful dining experience and will definitely book again for Christmas 2023!

We visited Blossom restaurant in the Torwood garden centre recently just as they were preparing for close down. My father is diabetic and his blood sugar level had dropped quickly so we needed to get him something to eat. Jackie went out of her way to make him a sandwich. In fact she made sandwiches for the three of us despite the kitchen being closed. All the staff in this restaurant were friendly and empathetic. The service was fantastic and a credit to the garden centre. Many thanks

Positives: The service was great, really quick despite being fairly busy and the staff seemed friendly. Nice large room, spaced out really well so it’s not overwhelmingly noisy. Carrot cake was tasty. Good selection of cakes and coffees Negatives: pretty expensive, I got a cajun wrap that was either 7 or 8 and didn’t even come with chips or crisps. Had a wee side salad and sloppy coleslaw. The wrap itself was pretty tasteless and very sloppy as well. Would come back for coffee and cake but probably not for lunch View menu

The food was so disappointing. We ordered a baked potato with prawn Marie rose. The potato was undercooked. We also had the Cajun chicken burger, which wasn’t actually a burger it was a full chicken breast that I think had been deep fried, even the outside of the brioche bun was greasy. Another member of our party had the macaron cheese which they couldn’t fault. Tables hasn’t been cleared so we had to clear one ourselves to be able to sit down and eat. Normally we would have complained about the food but we were visiting someone in the hospital close by and had to get back to them quickly.

We visited at 1.00 p.m. when the restaurant was very busy. There were lots of staff on duty all of whom were pleasant and courteous. We were served quickly and our table was cleared and cleaned before we sat down. Our meals were brought to our table in less than 10 minutes. We had Cajun chicken wrap and baked potato with chicken mayonnaise. Both were very tasty and enjoyable. The restaurant is bright, modern and very clean. The toilets were modern and spotlessly clean, quite remarkable given the probable number of customers using them today. A very good experience and a visit is highly recommended.

"Horrendous attitude from one of the owners/family helpers called Lee. I would like to highlight that Sonia provided a professional customer service experience in comparison to Lee. Placed the order at arrived at When I called at to find out...what was happening, Sonia offered to phone the driver to find out the situation for me, which was good. Whilst waiting on Sonia phoning me back, I received a call from Lee asking me to tell her what the problem was, I explained her colleague was dealing with it she then went on to explain how busy they are, which is understandable and I understand the challenges businesses have at the moment, owning my own. But there was no apology. In fact Lee (who at this point I did not know was the owner/family helper until Sonia told me) went on to tell me it was my fault I ordered from Just eat as they had their own orders to fill first?? Eh hello? It doesn't matter how I place my order, I chose your business to order my dinner from!. Anyway I explained to her that I didn't like her tone of voice and felt she was being really aggressive with me. She asked me if I wanted to cancel my order,I said we have been waiting two hours, so we may as well wait, however she was very forceful and kept saying no I will cancel, I will cancel and then decided to put the phone down on me. I couldn't believe how I had been treated as a customer! Then Sonia kindly phoned back to apologise and I asked whoever that was, should not be in a customer role and I was shocked to be spoken to in that way. She then went on to inform me Lee is the owner/family helper! Shocking. Sonia asked for my details and explained she would let the other owner know what had happened. hours later, I've not heard a peep from the restaurant. So I've made the decision to leave a review after explaining to them, this is what I would do. After waiting over and a half hours and using them for the first time, the food was below average. The pakoras and rice was nice, however the chicken korma was inedible, it was stringy and chewy, the lamb bhuna sauce was nice, the lamb was fatty and chewy. So all that wait for pakora and rice and sauce. We won't be back! Horrendous way to speak and treat customers!"
