"We had heard good reports about the Casino Bar in the centre of Pego so decided we would venture out of our comfort zone of Denia for a Friday night meal out. So glad we did. We had the choice of eating out on the terrace or in the restaurant. We chose inside as the space and coolness seemed more relaxing. Being shown to our table we were given the menu to chose our dishes. Prior to getting there we had chosen our courses but..... that all change after seeing what else was available. One of the main courses was a King Prawn salad. Now I'm not a salad person, as anyone who knows me would agree, however seeing this mountain of salad, prawns, topped with crispy parsnips with a sprinkling of mixed nuts even tempted me..... but I enjoy my meat to much so I went for the pork tenderloin in a peppery mushrooms sauce. Absolutely delicious taking my time to eat it so I could savour every mouthful. Lovely. After a short rest from our main we went for desserts, tirramisu and a cheese cake both of which satisfied our sweettooth. The location of the restaurant, the ambiance and the very attentive waiting staff made for a great dining experiance. Well worth the trip out. Thank you all very much."

We have been coming here for many years and whenever we visit my parents. The staff are always friendly and accommodating, considering my limited Spanish vocabulary. View menu

Surprisingly, today, Sunday, I found the restaurant open for meals. So having spent over an hour in the Police station I was really ready for some nourishment. Did I get it? Yes, I certainly did. Quite a choice of menu. My choice was fish and a dessert of Apple pie and ice cream. What a delight, a real culinary delight. The service was exceptional too. I was told that the kitchen would be open every Sunday. Very good news for me.

Position right in the town Centre. Lots going on to look at. Food excellent as ever but have to say the menu del dia no longer in operation but we had Patatas Brava and Pork Tenderloin which was very nice. Also given nice crispy bread and garlic mayonnaise (home made). Beer cheap and waiting staff friendly some English spoken. Probably a bit down from last time because of the limited menu but i guess they like everyone have suffered because of the virus

"Of all Pego, I would say that it is the best pizzeria hamburger in town. The previous days we were calling by phone to reserve a table, but I think that the Google phone number is wrong. We went early so we could have a table, and when we arrived we saw that it was not necessary to book. The place is quite large, they have a terrace with tables outside, inside they have a large room with more tables, and in the lower part they have a recreational area. They also have a delivery service, which seems to be what they prioritize. When we arrived there were only two tables occupied, so we could choose a table to sit at. The waiters were very friendly and took great care of us. They took our drinks order and brought us the menu. In this place, the only thing you will find are: starters, salads, hamburgers and pizza. We decided on a kentucky chicken fingers entree and three pizzas. The fingers came out of the kitchen pretty quickly. Of course they looked good. The flavor is very good and with the BBQ sauce even more so. The batter separated easily from the chicken, leaving it in a ball. But I liked that they didn't have any oil. Then the pizzas arrived, a Four Seasons, a Borromean and a BBQ. Their size may seem enormous, but the dough is Valencian, a crispy and very thin dough. They taste good, but you can tell that they are not made with fresh ingredients. The pizzas are made in a wood fired oven and this gives it another flavor. The truth is that I liked everything quite a bit. We were hungry and ordered two chocolate and vanilla cones. The presentation was very nice, but there were two cornets from the store placed on a plate and two balls of cream. In general we ate very well. The place was filled around nine at night and if it is true as some reviews say, that the service becomes slower, but it is normal, the more demand, the greater the wait. In short, if you're from Pego and you still don't know this place or you're in the area, it's a good place to eat."
