"We reserved to have dinner here on Friday, as it gets busy so we would advise to do so. This restaurant seems to be family owned judging by the way the staff got on, so made it quite homely. The restaurant has also the sense of being cosy and a chilled out, despite there being a lot of decorations along the walls and ceiling. There was a range of Italian foods and drinks on offer, at a reasonable price. The food portions were very generous, all looked comforting and tasty great. The staff were all friendly, helpful and were up for a chat so was great. We even got chatting to the head staff and about the procedures they had to put on place and how stressful it was. We had the following: Starters Garlic bread with tomato and Scallops with Bacon Mains Mushroom Risotto and Beef Medallion in peppercorn sauce Dessert Tiramisu and Panna Cotta"

I went there with some colleagues. Excellent food at very good price for York. Fast service and very friendly environment. Small tables and narrow corridors but a very food place. Affordable prices and good place to visit.

I and my partner had a great dinner last night. we were recommended by some people, because we were not from york and we were not disappointed. the food was perfectly prepared and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. we'll be here next time in any case.

I'm Italian so I can recognise authentic Italian food and let me tell you, this is by far the most authentic place I've been to (and I've travelled a lot around the UK). I can't recommend this place enough, I'm definitely coming back again as soon as I can. Buonissimo

Delrios was absolutely amazing! Service over all was exceptional. Was made to feel very comfortable. The menu was explained very well and so was the specials. Cocktail tasted great and the steak cooked to perfection! We decided to come here from a recommendation and it was a great one for sure. If you’re visiting York, give it a go!

it was very nicer place, the atmosphere was very different and the entire interior of the restaurant was fascinating! the service was pretty good, and the food was nice. I had the seafood pasta dish and I wouldn't say it was fresh. the seafood themselves were very over boiled and tasted completely. the bruschetta and the tiramisu were very nice on the other side! would definitely visit again and taste other dishes.

I went there with a friend of mine from work. Not easy to find Italian restaurants in the UK (especially away from the big city where you can eat so\' good, with generous portions at a very fair price. The first night I could taste a delicious pasta and beans, followed by excellent garlic prawns. The rest of the table has judged excellent sea bass and sole from them tasted. Delrio\'s definitely a welcome surprise and the board for all to a compulsory stop.
