"This restaurant ruined our 38th wedding anniversary. We had noted on the reservation that it was an anniversary dinner, but after waiting 30 minutes for our starters to arrive, we were told they were prioritizing clearing a large table. They offered us glasses of wine on the house to make up for the delay, but after another 45 minutes passed with still no food on our table, my husband had to complain to the head waitress in order to finally get our starters. By that point, we had lost our appetites and decided not to wait any longer for our mains. We ended up leaving the restaurant without having a proper meal."

We had a fantastic Christmas Day lunch with our family at this restaurant. It exceeded all of my expectations. A big thank you to all of the staff. We would definitely do it again without hesitation.

We were desperate for a dessert after we received a very terrible service from the chilworth arms for dinner. We rang the four horseshoes to book a table for desserts and we were welcomed with open arms.

A very well presented pub, modern, clean and airy. The food was tasty but the service wasn't as good as I has expected. The service let the place down but apart from that, it was a pleasant afternoon lunch.

we have eaten some paints here and recommended to the friends. Unfortunately, this time two of the four meal times were in edible. very happy to change the meal, but the replacement then took about 30 minutes, which means that our friends had finished their meal until the time of substitution. so a shame

very nice and welcoming staff who likes to chat when the time allowed. bright and airy event with a lot of seating, both inside and outside. note that this position is visible from the autobahn. it's a pretty confused journey to come here. probably not a place where I would make a return trip. the prices are acceptable only north of the average, but in general. decent menu.

Quality of food: Quantity of food: Speed of Service: Rated down for slow service over an hour to get a starter is a long time especially when the restaurant isn't close to full. Fortunately we didn't mind given we had a lot to talk about, definately keep in mind if you're planning a quick meal! Quality and quantity of the food however was very enjoyable. We found the food worth the wait, and all of our party enjoyed their meal. Would come again if we knew service speed increased.

what a great pub! beautiful bright airy restaurant area. komfy horses shaped chairs. spacious outdoor areas for sitting and eating/drinking. my lunch was a delicious king linguini with generous portions and plentiful garnel. see them pictures! massive size fish and chips cooked as they should be! the other meal, and delicious wild mushroom risotto with blue cheese herb. all very well presented and served by friendly staff. I was washed with a decent half pint hobgoblin ale. I'm sorry this pub isn't in front of my house, but we'll be worth a visit.
