Food was tasty and portion sizes were decent. Lacking in atmosphere on a weekday evening but that suited us as we are hard of hearing!

Visited here Sunday Lunchtime and had to que for a table as no booking allowed. Venue is popular but calmed down around 1 Pm we went around mid day. Great selection, some thing for everyone and reasonable prices. Nice up stairs area without side balcony .

I chose the chicken, bacon and avocado salad which I had enjoyed greatly when I had it previously at the Brunello Lounge in Weston super Mare. I was very disappointed the chicken was very dry, over seasoned with salt and pepper, 'old tired ' lettuce and no toasted seeds. Not what I was hoping for.

It's a shame as this is my local but the last few occasions have been disappointing so we won't visit again. As things are so expensive now it is a treat to eat out, so it's even more disappointing when 5 meals are served up cold. The prices have also gone up so it no longer feels value for money for a cold dinner.

The young floor staff should get a different job. Very rude. Don’t like to be asked questions. If something is wrong they role their eyes and seem impatient. It’s not like it’s busy. Staff keep their heads down. No hellos or goodbyes. Such a weird atmosphere. Surprisingly I’ve had several applications turned down bc I don’t have waitressing experience but the ones that are hired don’t act like they have any experience at all lol. View menu

Strange place. Very eclectic decor. Wanted to go upstairs but they have no lift which is ridiculous for a place this size. My friend is disabled. Waited ages for a small snack. Very pricey not worth the money. Asked for music to be turned down 3 times as couldn’t hear each other think let alone speak. Not conducive for a relaxing catch up with a friend as young staff literally running around the place n it wasn’t even busy. So very annoying irritating and distracting. Staff not very friendly either. Won’t go again

Met a friend there for a beer and a bite. Staff were polite but slow. Waited over half an hour for the food and it was to say the least disappointing. It wasn’t particularly busy by the way. Had salmon on noodles, had to send it back when it finally arrived as it had been left on the side for ages waiting for staff to bring to table and was stone cold. Staff Apologized but when returned chef gave a disapproving look when it was returned as if I should of ate it cold. I was sat right near the kitchen. I have been frequenting the Grupo Lounge for many years, in fact I used to go there when it was a Blockbuster! What always appealed was the relaxed atmosphere and the quality staff that up until covid really were excellent! Sadly these days it seems to be a shadow of its former self! They have kept the same licensing hours but I can only assume they only pay staff till 11 these days because when it comes to closing they are (frankly) very rude!
