"This fancy restaurant in the center of Zurich didn 't convince me entirely and I think there are various areas for improvement as you 'll read below. Service was at least mostly polite. I ordered Zürcher geschnetzeltes with rösti, which is a typical local dish. They used an enormous amount of salt and the meat was cut slightly too thick in my view: I 'd expect more for the prices they charge. Also, when I asked for an IPA, I got strangely smiled at and asked and what would that be? ... I mean, it 's ok to not have IPA to sell, but you should at least know what it is if you 're in this business since it 's nothing ultra special. The place is only a couple of minutes away from Paradeplatz, so perfect location. The decor inside is ok, nothing spectacular. For some reason it gets super loud when the restaurant is busy, reducing a little the quality of the atmosphere."

The restaurant is located in the center of the city in a nice quiet location. The ambient is nice the food was delicious. The waitress (blonde girl) was a really nice, warm and professional. I Will definetly recommend this restaurant.

I ate there with my daughter on your recommendation... what can I say, the previous reviews already say a lot. Nice greeting Homely atmosphere, although it got very loud as it filled up. Eat good. We had guinea fowl breast on Bimi with 3 dauphine fries and a delicious sauce. Almost average prices for Zurich. Only the mineral was a bit “expensive” at 10, Chf for 0.75l.

we had luck getting the last table on the day of our arrival in zürich and enjoyed the evening very much. eating was really lovely. well presented and very tasty. the owner and their personal were very professional and beautiful to work with. a beautiful wine list has completed the experience. Although the first time for us... certainly not the last time we return next year. View menu

Great restaurant not far from Paradeplatz. It impresses with friendly service, a nice ambience and a manageable menu. Our 4 selected menus were all very good. The daily dessert was also very tasty. A little something to go with your coffee... these things add that certain extra something, which we really appreciate! Thank you Heugümper team it was a very nice evening for us!

if someone should research something about the perfect restaurant size, that would not be too small, not too big, perfect. it is also a very pleasantly decorated room with minimal fuss and maximum style, high ceilings and a fresh modern feel. The...menu fits on a side, but still offers a great variety. the Asian touch really lifts the dishes, but the Italian origin is also comforting. we loved the gazpacho and zander ceviche with ponzu! as if that was not enough, the service was over-friendly and attentive, none of the gramur otherwise so often in restaurants in this opposite very refreshing!

from the minute they are greeted from the effortlessly elegant hostess to the last nibbel, they will appreciate every moment of their culinary experience! the warmth and enthusiasm that is radiated by the personal are infectious and it is easy to see why. They are proud of everything they do. we were recommended to try the refreshing rare creation of rhabarb chili suppe with garnelen as starter from this world! and then we moved as main on the meerroten thun. all paired with a beautiful Swiss white wine. the ambiente of the elegant modern interieur is also very welcoming. in short: my new favorit goes in zürich! Our first dinner in Zurich and we couldn't have been more pleased! We were strolling the cobblestone streets and came upon a village square with beautiful outdoor tables at Heugumper Restaurant. The hostess (who turned out to be the owner) welcomed us despite not having a reservation, and she continued to treat us like her special guests she gave great wine recommendations, and even brought us an extra appetizer of seared tuna in between courses everything was delicious! We tried the beef carpaccio, veal cordon bleu, and veal filet in a mushroom and herb sauce. Thank you, Pamela, for making our evening so enjoyable!

Great location just off Banhofstrasse Relatively small place : 2 big downsides, the wine list is very short (and priced pretty highly), and there are only 2 waiters (and I imagine a small cooking staff), so the service was really slow (despite making clear we...had a train to catch and giving a lot of notice we still had to leave the place in a rush) My starter of steamed spring roll was rather good, though the chicken was too dry The main of seared tuna was excellent Disappointing desert though (molten chocolate cake) both too small and a touch too dry If you have plenty of time, might be worth a visit, but you pay premium price for the location I imagine, and you can find better experience...

"This is my fav Italian joint in Zurich. La Famiglia Tremonte is a small, family run cafe-restaurant that serves excellent and authentic Italian food at prices that are low compared to the norm in Zurich.Famiglia Tremonte is rather inconspicuously located at the corner of Zurlindenstrasse and Birmensdorferstrasse, a couple of doors away from The Desperado Mexican Restaurant. You might need to look for it a little: I lived practically next door and did not notice it for almost a year, and even then a friend had to point it out to me.The restaurant is mostly a takeout with very little seating, i.e. 7 people inside, and when the weather is goo, about 5 people outside. The ambience is basic but, like most things in Switzerland, the interiors are very clean. Staff and service are very goo. The food here is awesome! Authentic Italian fare that is probably heavily influenced by Sicilian tradition since that is where the family is from. I used to visit almost every day because the food tastes great and the prices are so low for Zurich. I have tried almost everything: several pasta dishes, polpettine, stuffed bell peppers, meatloaf, piadina, and of course, the fabulously tasty and hot chilli infused EVOO. I enjoyed every dish I ordered. Great stuff! I strongly recommend the super-hot chilli infused EVOO as a seasoning for almost all dishes, but especially the pasta dishes that come in a cream sauce. Please be careful with chilli EVOO: 0.5 tbsp. for noobs, and a max. of 2 tbsp. for those who like it hot. The chilli EVOO, when used appropriately, adds great flavour to your dish. The piadina is the best I have eaten - period. I have been all over the world, spent a lot of time in Italy and New York (: great place for Italian food lovers :), and I still think this is the best piadina ever. They also serve some nice Italian desserts -- I've tried a few but have forgotten the names. They also have a small selection of Italian ingredients for sale. I bought the pesto and was happy with it. You also get a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic Italian drinks to go with the food.Prices are relatively low by Zurich standards: I rarely ever ate for more than CHF 15, and if I skipped the drinks it was usually around CHF 10. Of course, this varies a bit according to what you order.Highly recommended. Glad I found this place. Great for office workers in the vicinity."
