This restaurant is very welcoming for families, with specific areas set aside for children. It’s a typical chain pub that meets all expectations. I spent around £18 for two main dishes, a pint of lager shandy, and half a pint of bitter. There are certainly more lager options available than bitter. This pub is conveniently located along the A46 between Leicester and Nottingham, making it easy to find. It offers plenty of seating in a spacious atmosphere, and there’s ample parking available. However, if you intend to leave your car overnight, it's recommended to notify the staff, as they have been known to issue parking tickets. The food is quite good, fairly priced, and served in generous portions. The staff are friendly and provide efficient service. My only concern is the size of the venue; it feels a bit impersonal, which might not be ideal for a cozy night out with friends.

Our food took nearly an hour to arrive, even though the restaurant was mostly empty. My friend had to send her dish back because it was not cooked properly. They did offer to replace her potatoes, but my meal still came with chips instead of the new potatoes I had been promised. I didn’t want to argue, as I was starving and didn’t want to wait any longer. When we tried to inquire about our meals or return my friend's dish, we were met by a young waitress who had a terrible attitude. The food was so disappointing that we couldn’t even finish our meals. We paid our bill and left feeling hungry, frustrated, and cheated. We will definitely not be returning!
