"We had a mocha and a milkshake. Took about 15 minutes to get to us, so pretty slow. The Mocha was ok, the milkshake was definitely just some fake banana flavouring in a glass of milk with some ice, very artificial flavour which was very disappointing. The redeeming feature is the atmosphere, except that the chairs are all very uncomfortable and it is either too hot or too cold because it is basically a greenhouse. This place used to be better so it feels like things have changed recently. The shop is ok and they have good music sometimes, but the cafe was not very good."

Such a beautiful cafe, attached to a fantastic little shop with handmade gifts. Recommend the iced coffee!

Such an atmospheric place. Great food and music. This wee place was buzzing. If you get a chance to see Brigid O'Neill Music here, don't miss it View menu

I pop in to KGC quite regularly for a breakfast at the weekend. The quality can be quite hit and miss with inconsistent portions and cooking which is a shame as the place and service is lovely.

Nice place,earthy,rustic...but !! a blond girl. Pretty but pretty miserable as well. If she doesn't wish to work there, why doesn't she find another job! That's the only reason why it doesn't get a 5 star from me. I'm all for people to be themselves but in the hospitality sector,..they need to try ! SMILE

Came with my toddler as had a play area but it was in a really cold part of the cafe with no heating on and sadly all the toys and books were really tired either didn't work or grubby. All the books were tattered. Food was awful the kids meal came with really overcooked oil sodden chips and burnt sausage. The nachos were really greasy with some sort of guacamole liquid really disappointed for the price... View menu

A nice ambience. Unfortunately the rise and shine meat breakfast £11.90) contained possibly the most revolting cheap sausage and fatty bacon I have ever had the misfortune to eat. On the positive side the portions were so mean that there was not much of it to suffer! Seriously overpriced. My daughter had a veggie pasty which although the waitress forgot to bring it and needed reminding) apparently tasted ok.

A group of us went for brunch the food was pretty poor. The eggs were really overdone, and the rest wasn’t very special. Also, one of our group didn’t get their food it had to be chased and when it eventually came (after we had all finished eating ours, it took that long) it was completely cold, they really shouldn’t have served it at all. One positive coffee was nice reasonably priced, and it is a nice looking restaurant.
