"The ambience is quite nice and it bestows a palatial vibe as you enter the restaurant. Cultural icons like the Guruvayoor elephant figurine, Kathakalli portrait hints about Keralan cuisine. The menu looks comprehensive but compared to an average Indian Udupi restaurant, it's like a foot note. That's the case with most Indian restaurants in the UK. The food itself is fine for the price, the textures were on point. However, what it lacked was authenticity. The potato filling in the Masala Dosa was a mish mash of all veggies, despite the flavourful tempering. The Chinese fried rice lacked flavour and requires some exposure to the Indo Chinese methods in general. Overall, a decent experience but don't let the grand ambience raise your expectations through the tall roof. Truly can't fault the price either. Had food delivered, forgot the sauce to the biriyani, called the restaurant and refused to send out, we spend £30-40 every week and if that’s how they treat loyal customers we WILL NOT be ordering again. £14 for a portion of RICE!

Absolutely fantastic South Indian food! I loved it so much I ordered it three days in a row! Best restaurant I have been to in my short stay at Rotherham. Tried the Kerala style Chicken Biryani, Houseboat beef fry, Kottayam Beef curry and Lamb Kurumululaku curry. 10/10 for all.

Disappointed after reading reviews as poppadoms were not crispy, korma was missing coconut , fish curry was not as spicy as expected for a medium curry. Rice and nann were good. We had excellent food and great service at this restaurant. There were eight of us and we all had starters, mains, and beers, which came to a total of £233. We all agreed that it was great value for money and we will definitely be returning for more of their fabulous food. The food, service, and atmosphere all scored a perfect 5.

The food at this restaurant is absolutely fantastic, and the staff are wonderful! I will definitely be returning. It is also very child-friendly, with high chairs available. The service is top-notch, and overall it is a great place for lunch. The price per person is between £20-30. I highly recommend this restaurant for its delicious food, great service, and lovely atmosphere. A perfect 5 out of 5 rating across the board!
