"Went for a lunch as seen reviews and thought it would be good. The pub, and outside area is beautiful. The young lady serving us was very hospitable and helpful. Food however was poor. Crab linguine, hunt the crab, luke warm. Husband chose cod loin. Unfortunately no cod, so opted for the chicken pie, asked for new potatoes, waitress wasn't sure they had some! So ended up with chips. A pie that looked whiter than the chicken as microwaved. Would return for a drink, not food."

We have visited this restaurant man times and we were looking forward to trying the new winter menu. I was recommended the shoulder of lamb. Having been in hospitality over 40 years. The dish was very fatty this gave the gray leaving a fatty residue in mouth. Sorry but it was not good it will not deter me from coming again, we are all able to have an off day
