"birthday meal on a beautiful warm sunny Monday evening, beautiful location on the bach in faversham. free parking directly in front of the village sa in the winter garden, which was nice. welcome and service excellent. first visit in an Italian restaurant. it was pretty quiet at the arrival. early evening, but soon more business. they had to shut off the walk-ins while we were there because the lack of kitchen staff, which was good, which meant that they could provide a good service for those who had already booked. the food was beautiful. I had to start the mozzarella and gnocchi for net (depending on how it was the part was huge and I couldn't eat it all. the service of chiara? was excellent, she spoke the dishes with such a good Italian accent that we assumed she was Italian, but no. it is something on the expensive side, but for a special occasion fine. or just one head,- dessert and a drink, to be honest, that would have been enough for me! we will definitely be back, now we know it is there."

We ordered two different risottos, one seafood risotto and one mushroom risotto. Both dishes were amazing. The tiramisu was also delicious. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was great. We dined in for lunch and the price per person was between £30-£40. Overall, we rated the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5. View menu

This restaurant is a fantastic choice for a special evening out. The food is top-notch, with the Tagliatelle Posilipo, Fried Calamari, and Salad being particularly delicious. The service is excellent, and the atmosphere is perfect for a relaxing and enjoyable dining experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable meal.

This Italian restaurant is absolutely fantastic, the best I've been to in the UK. The food is consistently amazing and the service is exceptional. There is a great selection of vegetarian options available. The restaurant has limited parking which can fill up quickly during busy times. It's family-friendly and wheelchair accessible with no steps leading into the restaurant. The prices are reasonable, with an average cost of £40-50 per person for dinner. I highly recommend the Spaghetti Alle Vongole, Tagliatelle Posilipo, Fried Calamari and Salad, and Pizza Margherita. Vegetarians will be pleased with the clearly labeled vegetarian offerings on the menu. Parking can be somewhat difficult to f...

"Having been to the Phoenix several times and I believe, this to be my second average review of the food and service, you 'd think they would have taken heed, but clearly not. Firstly, like most top end restaurants in London, they are reserving the right to charge for no shows £20 per head). But, what they are also doing, which is very unfair, is charging you for cancellations within 24 hours of the booking at £10 per head. If one or more of our friends had fallen ill over night it 's the flu season at the moment), they would have been were forced to go for an expensive average Sunday lunch, whilst spreading their germs to the other diners. It also poses the question, what would some do if you book a table less than 24 hours like we did) and then decide to cancel? The excuse that orders for food have already been placed doesn 't really hold water. The Sunday menu forces you to order a minimum of 2 courses at £34 per head. Some of the top London restaurants are charging less for far more opulent Sunday roasts e.g. the Jugged Hare at the Barbican). The Sunday lunch served was simply very average and not value for money. Finally, why are the desserts here, always consistently so bad? I ordered a baked cheesecake and got cream squirted on a piece of cake. When I asked what I had been served, I was told it was chef 's interpretation of a cheesecake. The menu clearly stated baked cheesecake. Not even in my wildest dreams can you interpret a baked cheesecake as a piece of cake with creamed squirted on it! This was promptly returned and replaced with a vile chocolate tart, with pastry so hard I couldn 't cut into it without the fear of smashing the plate it was served on. The chocolate was over salted and the chantilly cream served with it unsweetened. Save your money, go elsewhere."
