"the tee room is a stone throw away from the mouth and there is always an activity on the river, depending on the curse to help them lose the trace of time. the menu is quite cosmopolitan and varies from local crabs and lobster to baguettes and cakes. when it rains, they can retreat to the car, eating is still delicious. if the weather with them is excellent. kovid rules apply at the mo so seats on picnic benches outside with pager and ordering and collection are on separate windows. if the order is ready their pager rings, works well. the recycling of the müll is made easy by marked ams. dog-friendly."

The cafe was closed despite advertising it was open on its website and saying it opened at 11-00am on the door. We arrived at 12-00 and there was no one around. No idea how good the food is because they can’t even be bothered to turn up

a tee room with a view. a good selection of foods from dressed crabs to braut and speck. a good choice of cake. they are well furnished to codify with summer on tables. pay them a window and collect them from another. we enjoyed a breezy lunch.

I parked by the tearooms, then did a circular walked behind the tearooms through the old Forest by Daugleddau. Ended up back at the tearooms, for a lovely drink a bite to eat, very enjoyable all well organized by the staff excellent will be going back. View menu

we have been in pastness already often in quayside tearooms, but after going there at the weekend I felt the need to publish an evaluation because I was so impressed the coffee contract was amazing and the Covid safe system they have is excellent. great place to visit!

What a gem of a place. Quite apart from the beautiful location and views the food was totally delicious. Freshly prepared to order with home made coleslaw and couscous salad garnish. Fresh crab on brown granary and a prawn baguette served by attentive, friendly smiley people. A joy to spend time and money there.

We stopped by the tearoom during our walk around Lawrenny and we were very happy we did! I ordered a Welsh breakfast and my partner had the eggs on sourdough toast. All the ingredients were locally sourced and incredibly tasty. It's a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the view of the quay. The best part was that it's dog friendly with a menu full of treats for our furry friends. View menu

my daughter visited from bristol so that we visited her last open day this year for lunch. she enjoyed her crab sandwich as I did my prawns. really generous fillings, well presented in a box. very well organized with the summer on every table and facilities for us to do our own recycling. even if the sun did not seem, it was nice to be there at the river, we will be back next year.

Great little spot recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. All the menu sounds good but we went for crab sandwiches which were excellent. All food is currently (Aug 2020) served in picnic style boxes for taking away, eating on the outside terrace, or as we did, in your car as you overlook the watery scenes. So good we are thinking of going back to try some of the other offerings. Not to mention sone of the most impressive social distancing ordering and serving arrangements we have come across.
