"I had an amazing dining experience at The Green Man! I was looking for a place to eat with friends while on the road and stumbled upon this gem. The interior is gorgeous and we were warmly welcomed with a big smile. We had the option to choose where to sit, as it was a quieter time of day. The food was so delicious that we ended up having three courses! It was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The old pub had a comfortable and cozy atmosphere, beautifully decorated. The owner, who served us, was so accommodating of our dietary requirements and was incredibly lovely and interesting. We tried to tip her but she refused, insisting it go to her staff who she was very proud of. It was heartwarming to hear about what a wonderful team they were. Thank you for a great experience! Kudos to the chef! You have definitely made it to our list of favorites."

Really really enjoyed Sunday lunch!! Can’t get a nicer meal on a plate! The meat was cooked just right, lovely roast potatoes and plenty of delicious seasonal veg to boot. Went for the homemade marshmallow dessert WOW

We frequently dine at the Green Man, usually 2-3 times a month. The food is consistently excellent with a regularly changing menu. The owner, Victoria, maintains impeccable hygiene standards as the entire pub is always clean. We always receive a friendly reception and thoroughly enjoy our visits.

We went for the steak night deal which was a sirloin steak with all the trimmings and choice of sauce plus a bottle of wine. At £39:95 for two this was exceptionally good value. The steaks, as well as all the other items were very well cooked. Service was excellent. Extremely pleasant experience, thank you. View menu

Booked as near Lincoln and taking daughter back to Uni. Looked good on Trip Advisor and it certainly was. Very freindly welcome, great choice, especially the boss as she is vegetarian. 3 Vegan sausages and full roast trimmings. 2 beef and it was delicious and one burger. 4 sweets, again they were great. All fairly priced. Lovely staff. Will be back when next over that way.

I recently had a fantastic dining experience at this lovely country pub. The Christmas menu offered a variety of delicious surprises to suit every palate. I particularly enjoyed the blade of beef dish. Victoria, who always ensures the food and service are top-notch, was there during my visit. I highly recommend trying this hidden gem with its reasonable prices, friendly staff, and cozy atmosphere. You can't go wrong dining here.

Sunday Lunch as it should be. Roast beef pink, huge yorkshire pudding , roast potato, mashed potato, red cabbage , vegetables. All served with a smile and very attentive staff. Dessert was home made marshmallow surprise and delicious. Will definitely return and recommend everyone pay a visit though booking essential as very busy understandably. Well done The Green Man special mention to mine host Vicky and Jack our very personable waiter. View menu

Came for Sunday lunch on the recommendation of a few acquaintances and was certainly not disappointed. The beef was tender and pink (as one should have it), roast potatoes melted in your mouth and the vegetables were soft and crunchy. Service was excellent throughout and paid attention to all of our needs, even going as far as putting us on an accessible table (we had a wheelchair with us). Overall a very warm experience and would recommend to anyone!

On Thursday nights the pub often has a steak night, this week we went for that. The pub was not over busy but there were a few people enjoying the food and quite a lot of 'bar ' customers. The steak was smashing, and the price was superb for the quality of food we received. I had the toasted marshmallow and fudge dessert, which was also smashing, especially as both the mallow and fudge were homemade! The pub was warm, the central heating and two log burners were on, when I asked the landlady told me that she had received complaints that the pub was cold so she put everything on! Cold it was definitely not! Neither the room or the atmosphere.

"We choose this spot because of the many positive reviews. I guess we turned up on a bad day!I have only been introduced to coffee a few years ago despite being in my mid 50’s and really don’t like coffee unless a well made flat white. I travel the world frequently for work and always ask the same question, can you make a flat white? The reason being unless the person is a passionate barista I rarely get a coffee I enjoy. This question clearly upset the lady serving us who ‘rolled her eyes out loud’ by the question and then represented the request to her colleague in a manner that was more like ‘we have a pain in the arse’ than ‘can we make this gentleman a nice coffee. (Yes we overheard).Everything was fine except the flat white was a milky coffee and not something I enjoyed. Not a problem though. I never said a word but when asked at the counter how things were I thought I would say everything was good except the ‘flat white’. Immediately confronted by both in very hostile way was very surprising as I was only answering a question I thought they were interested in hearing I placed a review on their website and their response is a really good example of their attitude. Instead of focusing on service recovery they wanted to blame me and absolve themselves of any responsibility.I of course mentioned this to a few people in Sleaford and surprise surprise was met with very similar responses, ‘we don’t go there anymore as the staff can be very rude’ Looking forward to seeing how the proprietors decide to respond to this one."
