"Celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary was lovely but not the most romantic as it was noisy as usual. The seating was private as they have lots of barriers and corners despite having lots of covers. The food is exceptional. We had the same starter Duck Liver Parfait Caramelised hazelnuts, apricot and apple chutney, toasted brioche which was amazing. Bread can give me indigestion if it is mass produced and this bread was fine so presumably made in house or made the traditional way. Main : The Ivy Shepherd’s Pie with garden peas, broad beans and baby shoots. We had had this before, and it didn’t disappoint. Our favourite pudding, which was the apple tart was not on the menu. My husband had the rum barbar, one of his favourites in France, but he’d never ever in 40 years had one in the UK that was so delicious, and a decent size. The staff are amazing. Attentive at not too much. All in all, we had a very nice time and I hope to be back before next year."

Probably the best full English I’ve ever had. Always a great atmosphere, beautiful decor inside and out. Great service and quick.

We went for the festive menu and had a super time. The dishes were cooked to perfection. The only downside was that I was driving so only one small drink for me.

Lovely atmosphere on Mothering Sunday morning they have you flowers too which was a nice touch. The food was standard, no better then I have had at somewhere like Bills but more expensive. I would go again and would like to try their lunch or dinner menu.

Really lovely experience. Wasn't first choice plan but happy ended there. Really welcoming staff ,smile faces, polite, nice manner. You just feel happy by all surrounding. Beautiful place. I would come back. The big pot flower bouquet behind has layer of dust and cobwebs.

We have been to The Ivy many times and it’s one of our favourite restaurants around Cobham, Esher and Weybridge. Great customer service and the whole team is always very nice. Fantastic food, well presented and great value too. We would definitely recommend this restaurant to others.

I have been fortunate to have eaten here quite a few times, but I have to say this was my least enjoyable visit. Service was good, but the blackened cod is half the size it used to be and is not wrapped in a banana leaf but simply placed on one. Also, it was hardly blackened . Prices are high for what you get.

The most pristine setting in Cobham Surrey, England. It’s a must go place if you are in the area. I was in town for my son’s graduation at Cobham American school (ACS) and met a friend who took me to this place. Very good menu and very English interior. Food was very good. It’s always packed and make sure you have reservations before you go.

Food was excellent. I e joyed the mustard ketchup. A delight to dip the chips in. Duck liver was rich and creamy with an amazing chutney served with the best toasted sour dough I've had! Service was slow in parts but overall very good. Martinis to finish off the night marvelously, be it making my journey home a little wobbly. Would go back again for the chocolate bombe dessert alone. That was my fondest and most memorable dish I had the pleasure to have at my first and not last trip to the ivy!

Had roasted salmon which came with a tiny spoon of aubergines and a handful of green beans. Not enough for the £19 price tag. It wasn’t really what could be considered a main course. For dessert I chose the coconut panna cotta. It hardly tasted of coconut. There were some marinated pineapple slices and some ‘chillies???’ I mean why the chillies? And toasted almonds but overall no sauce on top to give it a bit of flavour. It was really bland. The service was good but overall not the experience I was expecting at the Ivy. I’ve been to other restaurants from this chain and their food was way way better. So with that small portion of main course and half the dessert left on the plate, I went to...
