"Booked a table for 6 for my Gran’s 90th birthday. We had a lovely lunch, the staff were excellent, food delish and we found the lunch menu to be very very good value. Service was efficient but not rushed in any way. They popped a candle in Grans pudding and sang happy birthday which was a lovely touch. Free parking right outside and an outdoor area for warmer days. Very pleased, will be back again and again thank you Red Lion Rooms: 5"

The atmosphere is fantastic, with excellent staff and delicious food. Make sure to arrive early if you want a seat by the fireplace. Prices are reasonable, and it's dog-friendly as well!

We arrived earlier than anticipated and were promptly given a table while waiting for our room. The staff was incredibly helpful, friendly, and well-organized. We enjoyed lunch, which included a delicious pie and excellent stout. Breakfast offered great value and quality. Overall, I would rate the rooms as a 5, the service as a 5, and the location as a 4.
