This pub is lovely, and the staff is fantastic—very friendly and welcoming to dogs. I thoroughly enjoyed my vegan wellington; it was incredibly tasty and perfectly cooked. There are only two vegan options available, but I’m not complaining. I hope they add more choices soon!

My experience was unexpected - caught in the rain, I sought shelter in the first place I saw. On our way to see the nearby castle and bird island, we decided to wait out the storm by ordering a bite to eat. We noticed that everyone around us had a plate of delicious-looking fish on their table.

Although it’s not a vegan restaurant, the staff was knowledgeable and pointed out the three vegan options available the night we dined there. For my main course, I chose a dish from the menu: the Mediterranean tart. It was bursting with flavor and had a wonderful texture—truly delicious! As an appetizer, I had olives and bread, and the staff promptly replaced the butter with oil and vinegar without any need for me to ask. I was very impressed by the quality of the food and the service. We will definitely visit again next time we’re in the area.

Here is a great place to stop and eat when you are in North Berwick, a must-visit location on the Scottish coast. This small traditional pub is located next to the tourist office and across from the public restroom (which you can use!). My experience was as follows: I left the tourist office and it started raining, so I stopped at the first place I saw.
