"My wife and I went there today for lunch, I had an 8oz Rump steak, which was excellent, my wife had the chicken and bacon salad, again excellent, both were presented well, the meal was tasty, and all the staff and landlord were really friendly, we will have to go back because it was the best meal we've had cooked for us in a very long time"

Had a fabulous meal this evening. The mussels are to die for. Steak melts in the mouth. Hubby loved monkfish curry. Landlord and lady (assumed) also very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

My friend and I visited "The Off-Kance" for Sunday dinner, and I must say it was probably the best carvery I've ever had! The food was nicely presented and absolutely delicious. I will definitely be returning!

Eaten at the weary traveler x4 times and had a range of meals. The service was amazing, food was amazing from steaks, fish and chips, belly pork and baguettes. Service was out standing, drinks reasonable and a lovely play area for children. I would recommend this pub any day.

Not the dreary dull place it once was. Nowadays it's light and cheerful, the staff are welcoming and friendly and the food is amazing. The garden is fab, we saw 2 baby rabbits running aorund. Last night 4 of us rocked uo at 8.45 for Venison steaks, dauphinois potatoes and fresh veg. Absolutely awesome and highly recommended!
