Whitfords Cafe With Rooms

I made a reservation at Nick the Greek for dinner. The service was excellent and the meal was beautiful, freshly prepared. All that was missing was some more heat and sunshine to make me feel like I was actually in Greece. Well done!

We tried to book a table for 3 days and they always say too busy. But when you walk in at 6,55pm it’s completely empty. They would not even try to accommodate a table of 3. And when you leave a message booking a table, they do not call you back

I had the lamb in parchment paper huge chunks of tender lamb, rosemary roast potatoes and salad which was an excellent choice. A couple had the chicken kebabs, with fresh chips, pita and salad. Another couple had the 5 meze deal. All the food was beautiful. Pity it’s not nearer home!!

Name of restaurant on sign is Nik the Greek. Home cooked Greek food, all tasty and fresh. Huge choice of dishes. Greek beer to wash it down and a bit of cake from their deli to take home for later be warned,the portions are generous . Staff are friendly and helpful. Worth booking for evenings as busy.

I picked up a takeout as I am staying nearby. We got beef stifado, lamb kleftiko, pita breads with dips, and baklava for dessert. Everything was delicious, and the staff was very welcoming when I arrived to pick it up. It was a wonderful experience. If we were staying longer, we would definitely come back!

We had another amazing meal with friends at Nik the Greek's restaurant. The staff, including Nik and his wife, were excellent and created a welcoming atmosphere from the moment we walked in. The drinks and food were top-notch, from the starters to the desserts. They cater to customers of all ages, including young children, and the restaurant is always clean. We've visited for meals and drinks in the past and always had a great experience. Can't wait to go back soon!

A fantastic visit from beginning to end. Rang and booked a table last minute, they were able to accommodate us, if you know you are visiting book ahead. Food absolutely amazing! Fresh, flavoursome and plentiful. 5 mezze dishes and a Greek salad was a very hearty meal for two, however, it was so delicious we ate every morsel! Service was excellent. All staff were attentive and couldn't do more to help us, thank you to the whole team. An added bonus was a trip to the shop next door for some take home goodies, wine, beer, cheeses...all very good value. Would definitely recommend to others. We are already planning our next visit!

I went to Whitford 's for dinner last night with my family. It was my first visit and certainly not my last. The food was DELICIOUS with plenty of choice. The service was excellent. The waiters know their menu very well and are very happy to tell you more about the dishes on the menu. They also have a little shop, where you can buy the wine and beer served at the bar (which I did! The people who run this restaurant are clearly very passionate about Greek food, and their enthusiasm is contagious. We had our seven-year-old with us, and they make children feel very welcome. Had a wonderful meal here last night. Doesn’t look much from the outside and basic furnishings inside. However…… The food was amazing!! 2 of us had the stuffed tomatoes (apologies accepted that it would be peppers as had run out of tomatoes). Stuffed with delicious rice mix with crispy, crunchy potatoes. The veggie moussaka with garlic bread was a major hit. The 4th person had the ribs, which was a huge plate and sticky and perfectly cooked! The Greek Salad with their own Feta was both generous in size and taste. Lovely Greek beers and wines. The service was so friendly it felt like we were old friends. The Deli is a treasure trove of home made and hard to find goodies. Will most definitely...
