"Lovely atmosphere. Tasty starters, both Ox cheek and Lamb tender and the beer battered onion rings are the best I have EVER had!!! Deffo recommend you try these! All food well seasoned. The prices very reasonable. The only downside was when listening to the specials at another table, it became apparent our first waitress had missed out one of them. If I am in Rainhill again I would like to come back and try something different."

We went here Saturday night for a family meal for my sons 19th birthday. Food was lovely, staff pleasant and friendly, cosy surroundings and the artwork on the walls by local artists was fab. Really nice evening will definitely be going back.

Drove past this place for years and ended up booking with a group. Lovely staff, great atmosphere and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. I had the soup which you could tell was homemade and then steak which was like butter and didn't last long. Would recommend and also go back. Little gem.

I recently had a wonderful girls' night out at this restaurant. The atmosphere was charming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the entire evening, even though we stayed quite late. I tried the venison which was delicious, and the cocktails, although a bit pricey, were fantastic. I would highly recommend this place and would definitely visit again, even though I am not local to the area (I am from Wigan).
