"We are local to the Hercules and have booked here many times, sometimes just for 2 and sometimes for larger family celebrations. Up until our most recent visit, this place has never failed to deliver. I’m not sure if the chef has changed as we haven’t been for a while but on our most recent visit it was a very different food experience. One of us had the fish and chips and although the fish was overcooked, the batter was soggy, probably due to the skin being left on the fish. This is just lazy and gives a very unpleasant eating experience. The mushy peas were like pea soup and you couldn’t pick them up with a fork as they were so runny. One of us had the chicken curry, which had green beans and carrots in it and not much chicken… not authentic at all. Staff were lovely as always and service very efficient. I’m really hoping this was a one off as we love this place!"

We went to the restaurant with my daughter- the staff were very welcoming and delivered great service throughout the night. The food was excellent as was the atmosphere- a really lovely evening

Visited Saturday night and ate upstairs terrific piping hot food with great service .The dishes have had great thought which are really tasty,congratulations to the chiefs.The atmosphere is superb and amazing value ,we definitely will be back.Fish and chips best ever ,superb.Week done all.

The Frank Parker burger which they have served here for a long time and was consistently good seems to have been replaced by a home made burger that is terrible. I had the tasteless burger with very dry pulled pork. The new summer menu seems to be a cost cutting exercise. Been here many times and was very disappointed.

Lovely restaurant set over two floors in a beautiful quiet village. Prices are a little on the high side to start with, and you pay extra for vegetables with your meal, which I find excessive. The food overall was very good with strong flavours throughout. The menu caters for typical fare of fish chips, burges, etc. through to tastey hosin flavoured pork belly dishes.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! I celebrated my birthday here with friends and it was fantastic as always. The food is amazing, and the staff are always friendly and cheerful. They are also very knowledgeable about our group's dietary needs. The restaurant is located in the heart of the village, near Bosworth Battlefield (which is definitely worth a visit). I highly recommend this place.

The staff at this restaurant were very welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The upstairs dining rooms were cozy and inviting. The food was delicious and we thought it was both high quality and reasonably priced. The waitstaff were professional and always had a smile. Overall, it was a fantastic evening and we would definitely return if we were in the area again. Thank you for taking such good care of us.

Went here with family for a birthday Sunday lunch and we all had fantastic meals. My roast pork was cooked to perfection with plenty of veg and gravy , with sticky toffee pudding for desert. Fish and chips, and burgers were had by my family members and they all loved them. Friendly staff and lovely spot , when you park in the back there are some lovely chickens roaming freely and rabbits and Guinea pigs in hutches , love this place !
