Food ok. Staff are hit and miss. Little pricey for this branch but others justify the cost

Been here twice recently. Bang on each time. Really great food. Good service. A little pricey but worth it.

my wife and I went here after lunchtime, we go to local pub restaurants every week. brilliant service, very fast to visit us and appetizer and main served very fast and eat hot and extremely tasty. the best filetsteak we had from, we couldn't find anyone critical. beautiful waitress first class round. thank you.

excellent meal, very friendly staff especially our waiter adam was brilliant and very helpful,Nothing was too much effort for him. we had to wait one, but this was clearly explained to us how we set ourselves, this was due to the formation of new chefs. we will definitely go back and would highly recommend this place

Call in on way home and had a lovely meal and pint. We sat in bar area and to say the seats were a bit tatty is an understatement. The staff were pleasant and very helpful but the barman could do with a personality transplant, he never smiled and it seamed like it was as if I must serve you I will. First time visitor to The Longford and first time I’ve been to Beefeater in many a year. We ordered the 3 course valentines meal, food was great, starters were excellent and ribeye steak was beautifully cooked. I was a little disappointed in the sharer dessert but overall the food was great. Staff were lovely and friendly especially our waitress and all the staff looked happy which is always a good sign. Only downside is the website says ‘sign up for 25% off’ so we signed up and never got the discount which was disappointing. Will go again

Good overall. We dined on the set menu which is served until 6. For starters the Nacho 's were by far the best as you got a plate full of nacho 's and 4 large dips in tubs, there was more than enough to share between 2 or possibly 3 people!!. Moving on to the main courses there is a good choice of dishes including vegetarian options. If you are having fish however it is probably better to opt for the cheaper one as with the 'supreme ' the fish is of the same size and comes on a paper sheet which stuck to the chips making it impossible not to eat. At the age of I have visited of restaurants both personally and for business and I can without doubt say that the So called steak specialist at Longford house Cannock Staffordshire is the worst place I have ever visited and I've visited some really poor places. The really saddening thing was that my visit was my wedding anniversary and it was totally spoilt my wife's and my night. The night stared poor, table booked for and it wasn't ready so finally got seated at We then waited mins to order. The table opposite hadn't been cleared from the previous party so hence we looked at dirty plates for over minutes until they could be bothered to clear it away.
