"Steak was cooked beautifully with lettuce wedge and chips also being up to standard however onion loaf was extremely overcooked on both mine and my others half's dish to the point it felt like it was going to shatter our teeth.I also added half a lobster tail to my dish that contained little to no meat, rather underwhelmed with it. The saving grace was the server (Sue) who was absolutely lovely."

Really delicious steak as always. Our server was absolutely fantastic. So helpful and just really good at her job. Can’t wait for another date night.

eating was extraordinary. personal diligent polite. I have kept cold waiting for no one to serve over 25 minutes, they were too busy chitchatting. at this opportunity they feel like not welcome.

beautiful local, easier access and the personal were really nice. Obviously a high-end location with cost and product, but we loved it there. felt comfortable and eating was delicious. again I would cost it, but they pay for what they get

from the fabulous welcome to the refined food was a great experience. only minus point was the lack of salate when my wife ordered salmon. our waitress was made aware that the information was fed back, but the salmon was cooked nicely. we will thank for the search for us all will definitely return

"I have been wanting to visit here for ages but the stars have never aligned until Saturday. We were extremely lucky to get a walk in for the two of us. We were greeted by the owner and shown to a table. As we didn't have any drinks with us Peter suggested Tesco a few doors down and I was able to grab a bottle to enjoy with the meal. The service was wonderful and friendly and it felt like we had been going there for years, with just the right amount of care and advice. The food was exceptional from start to finish. We had the chicken satay and spring rolls to start and they were beautiful. The satay was amazing and was much darker in colour than any I have had before, but much better in flavour than any I have had before, I would definitely have these again. For main I had a chicken rendang and my wife ordered gule monkfish. The rendang was again perfect for my tastes. Spicy but flavourful with a generous portion that would satisfy the majority of eaters. I would have had seconds, even though I was stuffed because it was so good. I can't comment too much on the monkfish as I have a dislike of seafood, but my wife raved about it and said she's having the same again next time without question. So I think that sums it up. We finished with deserts of a rice pudding dish I think was called bubar, which was black rice and coconut, and the second dish we ordered was a Banana coconut pancake to which I forget the name. Again I couldn't find fault if I tried another 10 out of 10. At the end of the meal we met owner and chef Ami, who came to chat. It was lovely speaking to the owners and their passion for the food and customer service was clear. We cannot wait until our next visit"
