"I don't know how many tourists visit Neuwied. We probably wouldn't have except for an empty day with no plans. So we took the train down and started walking around. After a couple of hours of picture taking and window shopping, it was time to...find something to eat. As an Asian, pasta isn't exactly on our menu, but I relented after my husband read the menu board outside of this eatery. I really began to worry when we saw no other customers inside. I quit worrying when the first dish hit our table. As I said, I'm not a fan of Italian food. But I AM NOW A FAN of the La Palma! The salad was fresh and tasty, and the huge plate of fried calamari was as tender as the steamed veggies that accompanied it. I love seafood and this is one of the best dishes I've had anywhere. My husband ordered minestrone and a baked combination of lasagne, macaroni, tortellini. and spaghetti for euros. He was quiet so that means he was happy. After the meal our waiter brought us a small caramel dessert and shots of Amaretto. It was his gift to us. We may never get back to this little restaurant. But it is our hope that this review will inspire others to visit a place who offers good food at a good price. This review is our gift to them."

on Sunday we were back in the best and cheapest pizzeria. it was great again, we had 3 different pizzas and once pasta, all totally delicious. service as always top, we come back

the service is excellent and very polite,if you like italian food you must visite pizzaria la palma! stefano is always there for you to recommend the dish of the day with a big smile . pizzaria la palma is the place if you want to...eat lunch or dinner.

we always like to drive to stefano, super tasty noodles baked,ob cannelonie etc. faster and good service. Only the ambiente could be more beautiful, although always being renovated. sometimes new chairs that could help. But eating always well and cheap trips. That's all right.

Been coming here for years, and although the original owner is gone, the quality of the food and the friendly service remains under new Management. When we are in the Neuwied area, a visit to La Palma is a must! Pasta, Pizza, Salad everything...tastes great, and makes it hard to choose. Love the Spaghetti Gorgonzola. View menu

cozy pizzeria with protected outdoor seating in good city location. gediegenes ambiente, well maintained sanitation area. a restaurant with a pronounced Italian cuisine, all pizzas and pasta dishes tastefully and optically unrestricted praiseworthy. salat preparation with a wide range of drinks.A centrally located restaurant. very recommended for lovers of Italian cuisine.

Looking for somewhere to eat in Neuwied on a Monday evening was more of a challenge than expected. Quite a few places closed but this was open and doing good business. I just selected a steak which came with a salad first and then main....Lots of onions covered steak, I didn’t need them all, but the steak was nicely cooked MR with good fries. Included beer and wine and was good value overall.
