Playfair's Steak House

had a great family evening here last week, eating was excellent, service superb, and additional touches really appreciated. try to visit each time we are in st andrews. it can't be mistaken!

Yesterday at playfair with my partner for valentinstag. the standard of eating and service was excellent! our experience was made so pleasant with the food and the personal. in any case our favorite place to go now. can not recommend enough! brilliant!

excellent steakhouse within two blocks of the old course. two or three pairs of courses. we have decided for two courses: steak, chips, salat and dessert. we added oysters. with three rounds of drinks came the total to about £80 including the congratulate. excellent service. View menu

especially loved my starter. “Chilli garlic linguine with pickled seaweed”. all-hearted it was amazing with a fantastic taste and a perfect hit by chili! loved the broken seaweed up! we would definitely recommend this restaurant if they enjoy Scottish food, seafood and steak!

prompt service. as one of the waiters learned or the other. he did a great job. steak was perfectly cooked. pfeffersoße could have been more pfeffersoße. the waiters went out of that to please the diners. they see gloomy pictures below. a good opportunity to finish a good meal.

this is my favorite place to eat the food is fantastic and the staff is always polite and very helpful. we were there on 29 november for my birthday meal and it was exceptional. I can't recommend it enough! can wait to come back when we have a family-proof. always surpasses my expectations. View menu

served during the open wing sat and baked squid and chips. it tasted as if it were a frozen pack from island! barely fish and a few chips underneath. tiny lemon wedges on every teller and the fish of my wife were burned. when we starve, we ate it, but the reflection should have sent back. I know they have a captive market during the golf, but we will not return.
