"Very first meal in Italy. Dining outside with the fam, a stone 's throw from the Pantheon. How could this not be 5 stars? (We were still 'starstruck ' at/by Italy so we were generous with the ratings. Could this place be dubbed as a 'tourist trap ' complete with the super smooth 'Hype Man ' out front (our first encounter with one, but definitely not our last sure. But the food was (mostly delicious, the pricing was solid and we left stuffed. What 's not to like? Was it the best pizza I ever had? Nope. (But it was much better than a lot of places throughout the country, that 's for sure. Were the starters a bit 'different ' from what you 'd expect in America? Yeah. (Just getting a massive sized plate with one sauteed artichoke swimming in a pool of wildly flavorful olive oil isn 't what we 're used to... nor a medium sized plate that 's just a few hunks/shavings of Parmigiano Reggiano. There was also a 'learning curve ' when it comes to if/when to tip and how some workers were more than forward with asking/suggesting one but other times they wouldn 't. Confusing, for sure."

Tourist trap, avoid. We took 2 spritzes and 2 proseccos paying €30, we asked for chips which were brought to us in a cup (20g) and we were charged €4 which I CLEARLY refused to pay. We were having something there and my partner came into the service. He asked the waitress with the little Italian he knew “dove e il servizio” and the lady told him “it's called toiletta, how rude” with a very bad face and very bad manners. We wanted to eat in front of the Pantheon and we chose this restaurant, we were delighted with everything, even though it was full of people, they served us magnificently at all times. First we ordered a Caprese salad, it was delicious!!! Then a sausage, mozzarella and mushroom pizza that we LOVED, thin (just the way we like it) then coffees, all extraordinarily good!! Fantastic restaurant. The best we have gone to in our entire 5 days in beautiful Rome! Excellent service. Fantastic location right infront of the Pantheon. Also every day there are local musicians playing infront of the place adding a very romantic atmosphere. The food was AMAZING. We had burrata cheese as an appetizer and 4 cheese pizza and a fantastic pasta with sausage and mushroom in white sauce that is out of this world. Highly recommended dish and restaurant overall.
