The vibe at this place is amazing, our server Zoe was absolutely lovely and the pork belly roast was to die for! Gorgeous! 10/10!

Great food and service but if you call it a roast, the potatoes need to be. Rest very tasty. Please also ditch the Kenny G music.

21 of us ate here as a walking group after our walk. Zoe was extremely organized taking drinks and food orders before we set off. The food and drinks arrived quickly after we arrived from our morning walk. The beer, food and service was all excellent . Well done to Zoe and all her team. Very efficient. We will be back.

I booked The Boot for a large family get together for my Mum's 80 th. I hired the marquee for a buffet style lunch. I have to praise Zoe. Sarah ,Chef and all the staff for their attention to detail, nothing to much trouble The day went brilliantly. Weather perfect. All my family couldn't praise the venue highly enough,and give me a big up in my choice. Wouldn't hesitate in doing again or recommending. Well Done,The Boot

We booked a table for 15 for a surprise birthday meal. The staff were absolutely fantastic and really delivered a special meal for us, they even sorted out the shop-bought cake we had brought with us and sang along to the happy birthday too! The food was incredible, highly recommend the Chicken New Yorker! Kids had an amazing time, the playground and garden is brilliant, such a big space for them to run their dinners off! Just spent a wonderful family Sunday lunch at the Boot. Where to start….with 3 small children, 5 adults and 1 Cocker Spaniel, we were made to feel so welcome. Our waitress was charming and efficient,constantly smiling. The food was superb. Sunday roasts, fish ‘n’ chips, kids meals all top drawer. Just to add, both the whitebait and calamari starters were amazing! Desserts were all lovely too. If you’re looking for a brilliant pub, with top quality food and service, look no further! The Boot ticks all the boxes….will return soon.

This was my birthday Sunday Lunch celebration with family many of whom live locally and had heard that the Boot was renowned for its Sunday roast. First off the service was excellent friendly, polite, prompt, great with the two kids etc. starters were all good langoustine, squid, kofti etc The problem and for me and my guests a big one) was we were all specifically asked how we wanted our beef cooked. We all wanted rare. However on arrival all servings were at best medium not even medium rare, let alone rare. Awesome gem that I’ve found just by searching for kid-friendly places reasonably close to all relatives and friends invited to my son’s third birthday. It’s the sort of place that would deserve to exceed the usual review scale, six stars would at least be required to represent the distance between The Boot and many other places that I reviewed with 5 stars. Ever since we set foot into this great pub, we’ve been welcomed with smiles and a level of kindness that other places reserve only for returning guests.
