"visited today for the second time, for the first time with my man and son. we found the environment picturesque. the personal was friendly and welcoming and the breakfast was beautiful, which served dame was very courteous for my son and took the time to have a little chat. I have booked again for afternoon tea and wow it was amazing, the best place I've ever been, but again the staff went out of the way to make our lunch pleasant. I mentioned when I booked this is my mother birthday, so she had a personalized cake (including a candle) birthday banners and balloons. we had such a nice time and am so grateful for the little ones that made it so special. we can't wait to come back. many thanks for a beautiful time xxx"

The building itself is stunning, making this place a hidden gem. I would highly recommend dining here.

The service at this restaurant is fantastic, with very helpful and friendly staff. It's a beautiful little place where you can enjoy food that is cooked and presented to a high standard. I highly recommend it for a weekend date night! The atmosphere is cosy, clean, and very accommodating, and they even welcome dogs.

Peter and his team have created the best café and restaurant in Suffolk, boasting breathtaking views of the countryside. Be sure to make a reservation in advance to avoid missing out, as the restaurant can get very busy during peak hours. The ample parking, top-notch service, and delicious home-cooked meals from the talented chefs make this a must-visit spot. Don't miss out on the comedy and themed nights, they come highly recommended.

breakfast morning, happy enough I had booked a slot before we found out about the new lockdown (and just like I had booked a weekend for the following weekend, so at least something to be happy)! they just reopened after a refit. really impressed by everything, including eating and service. beautiful, cooked breakfast. great staff! we wish them a lot of good and look forward to the new Takeaway menu, which will appear next week. I hope they will continue to whisper to use a place. can not recommend them enough.

"I love pubs! How many times do you hear that? I only properly discovered them 18 years ago because in France, although we have our cafes, they are nothing like pubs. I fairly quickly categorised them because when you think about it, they are all different. The best description for me for this one is a town pub full of character. I discovered it thanks to a friend and started going to hold a French Conservation group. I have only had drinks so far and believe me if you are after reasonable prices you have to go to the Gladstone. I have recently paid £2 in another place for a soda and lime. Here they charge you £0.30. And before you ask, no, it's not because it's served in a shot glass. When you enter the premises you will notice first the space. It has got room but you also can decide to sit in a smaller area. There is a fire place which is really nice especially at this time if the year. I went last Saturday to meet with a friend and we decided to have something to eat. If you want a night out but your are on restricted budget this is the place where to go. Ok the menu doesn't give you a massive choice as some do but in fact think about it, it won't take you too long to make your decision. The choice is good and the prices quite low. If you are vegetarian they certainly have thought about you. I am not but to be fair I've always wondered why the choices seem to be so restricted for those who are when eating out? I ended with the chilly beef and cheese. I like the fact you can choose to have it with rice or bread. The serving is good and I really enjoyed it. It was very tasty. The staffs work hard, are very pleasant and easy to interact with which is exactly what you want in a pub. It's a place with great atmosphere. And if you enjoy watching tv in a pub this is certainly the place where to go. It was a very reasonable and enjoyable night out. I'll be back!"
