"Six adults and two dogs on a boating holiday called in for lunch. We sat outside in the spacious garden with lovely canal views and a huge sun shade for those of us that wanted shade. The wines were great (I was immediately asked if I had a preference for region for sauvignon blanc and they had a lovely New Zealand Marlborough) and the guys said the Guinness was very well kept. The menu was very varied and even though there was a slight hiccup with one meal, it was immediately taken away and replaced without any fuss, plus we had an apology from the chef as we were leaving! Two people had the generously-sized wood fired pizzas and the reminder was boxed up for us to take back to the boat. My crispy duck salad was the best meal of our week away. The staff were very kind and helpful and if we're ever in the area again, we'll be going back."

Excellent place for a nice dinner. Lovely young staff, great food and cozy interior are waiting for you. However, a bit expensive.

We were sat in the marquee which is warm and beautiful. I had the crispy duck, poke bowl and treacle tart. Food was lovely. Staff were great.

We’ve been here a handful of times now. It’s situated half way between my family and some close friends. Consistent great food, selections of wine are always good, and the service is bang on.

Lovely place to stop after a long walk. Dog friendly, fab garden with plenty of seating and dog water bowls available. We had a bit of lunch and a pint in the sunshine. Was fairly busy, but it was Bank Holiday lunchtime. Will have to come back and try it one evening as inside looked great too

third visit in this amazing gastro pub . sa in the beer garden as the canal boats passed. what an environment in rural worcestershire. the staff is super friendly and attentive. eating is excellent. our dog friend, for whom our little boy was well-kept. definitiw must be one when they are in the midlands.

Good Sunday roast, efficient service, good atmosphere and reasonably priced as usual. My only comment was that the treacle tart was served with Greek yogurt (I hadn’t noticed when ordering). In my mind this is a definite ‘no no’, it spoilt the tart for me. I think it should have been served with custard, fresh cream or clotted cream.

we stayed in the juni queen am’s head for dinner at the canal and wanted to publish a review at this time. we had a nice table outside. the food was delicious! we wanted to share a dessert, but it was so good, I wouldn't share it so my partner got it herself. the service was excellent. we'd eat here in a definitive way if we're in the opposite.

And what a beautiful little jewel this place is with its entrance from parking to a flight from steel stairs that lead them to the front of pub/restaurant, they will be through a small corridor that leads them into a large but not emposant bar and relaxed open area the food card is modern and different when you ponsey the labor and strif had the scollops and the warm desalat one I took part in one of those wood-fired pizzas were both of a very high standard and they all consisted the food anister gellyl aka the woman the location next to the can only adds the whole stuff fantastic, and would I ke...
