"Booked over the phone for a table for 2 on a Sunday afternoon, they happily fitted us in we arrived around 4pm to a very busy little cosy place, they seated us and then we had a little browse of the menu, we had the vagabond feast 12 pizza and a vegetarian Sunday roast with extra potatoes this along with 3 pints of poretti came to £45.50 good value for what we had and a really enjoyable Sunday lunch was had. Staff friendly, atmosphere good a lovely little place a must go in Whitehaven."

Only stopped by for a drink, and it was heaving. The front of house staff were very welcoming and accommodating. They popped us on a table that was free for half an hour before their next reservation.

We turned up on NYE without a booking and the staff kindly slotted us in. Both had the 3 meat roast dinner. Absolutely loved it. Food was great, staff were great, service was great, atmosphere was great! Wouldn't bother looking around elsewhere as you can find it here in this tucked away charming pub. Thank you guys!

Came for a meal with my wife and son , we chose the pie and my son had the scampi . Excellent food . Well displayed and good quality . The team were attentive and looked after us well . Big shout out to “andrea” , a very pleasant lady . Nothing was too much trouble . Give the bar a go . It’s deceiving on the outside .
