"We had a group booking last year, food was quite food. However, what wasn 't good, was clear manipulation to make patrons spend more money by drowning the food in salt, which naturally made you drink more purchase more, maybe to recover monies lost during the lockdown(s). When the waitress came along, I, half-joking, said nice way of making people buy more drinks by drowning the food in salt! she smugly said Yep, it worked didn 't it . Wasn 't impressed, we used to go there eat regularly until around May 2022, but we have not been back since, which is a shame. The rear garden is actually very good with a nice view, but we not be manipulated like that."

I've just moved to the area and popped in for a quick pint. They had 3 real ales the TT Landlord was very good and the other people in the pub were very friendly.

the personal is beautiful, eating is amazing, offering a discount for the 'more ripe' of us and children. fab garden and regular maintenance. dog-friendly. I'm sure I'm thinking about something else in a minute!

it is a nice place to visit. we had drinks and eating what was okay. I ordered fish and chips and it looked all nice, but the fish was not good and it was too oily. we enjoyed our time here anyway. beautiful garden and personal.

beautiful meal, great service, which is for an amazing place in a small village. we ordered the special menu on the board, that was the pork bauch and duck, and basileys parfait and cream brulee for dessert, it was cooked to very good restaurant standard, highly recommended.

brilliant pub, super friendly bar staff, beautiful atmosphere. I didn't eat here, but the food I saw looked amazing and only heard compliments coming from the tables. will definitely come back to try to eat in the future. a brilliant selection of drinks both on tap and spirt wise. with a cute kamin to give this warm, secret feeling.

This is a hidden gem. An unassuming old pub serving really good homemade food. Not typical fast food pub meals as might be expected at first sight but a great variety of dishes including sea bass, pork fillet and steak together with a good variety of desserts all beautifully cooked and presented. The restaurant opens out onto an enclosed outdoor seating area.
