"we live quite locally, but had not visited many years until day I wish we had! Sunday dinner was the best we had eaten for a long time, there was a lot of sweet and meat and everything was perfectly cooked. a member of our group had the lasagne and also said that it was one of the best he had. also the chocolate cake for dessert was heavenly. the service is great and friendly and the pub was cozy and festive with traditional decorations. we will make this site definitiw a regular food-out option from now on."

Looking for light lunch so had a starter of spicy fishcake and ordered a side of chips and it was just right. Decent quality food here and good friendly service by a group of young waitresses. Would come again.

Some of the best food you can find with top class service from staff who know their job and do it very well every time. Steaks are outstanding and cooked exactly as requested. Starters were lovely and the desert about finished me off!

good location. comfortable cozy atmosphere. sit outside when the weather is good. many ordinary, automatically output beverages. some local hand-held beers would have been very welcome (there are a few beers within 30 miles.) I put myself on a bottle beer. slightly disappointing.

the best steak he had everywhere. that is a high praise! desserts were fabulous. radioly clean, traditional environment with good employees a lot of it. beautiful beer garden in front of stunning hanging baskets. many thanks for a beautiful meal. all the workers were politely helpful except one.

our daughter took her mother and I to the Mother's Day. it was lovely. the aromen, as we waited for our food, wetted our appetit, and we were not disappointed. proper yorkshire portions large. beautifully cooked. I am hot. excellent service to complement the experience. the only disappointment we couldn't fit into pudding, as we were all full. two courses were more than enough.
