"Went as a large group of 16 for a birthday meal on Sunday. Food options were brilliant. The Sunday lunch looked so nice and the people who had it said it was lovely. I went for the 2 courses for £8.95 (starter and main) which was brilliant and there was a good amount to choose from. There was the choice to have some of the food as gluten free too which was even better to know as I know people that could benefit from that option. Parking: Parking is around the back of the restaurant. It is free on a Sunday. The parking meter is through PaybyPhone. Kid-friendliness: There was options for kids and the restaurant is kid friendly. Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get a wheelchair around the restaurant and there are no steps to get into the restaurant."

My experience at this restaurant was disappointing. The food lacked flavor and we waited for 2 and a half hours because we were neglected. The service staff was rude, especially our waitress who had a terrible attitude. I do not plan on coming back. For a better option in Whickham, I recommend Oli and Joe's down the road.
