"Having previously visited, I returned to Honey Harvey with my wife with a view to enjoying brunch. After entering, we waited patiently as a customer ordered a takeaway coffee. We then advised the young lady behind the counter that we were after a table for two for brunch. “It’s just a matter of finding a table…” she said curtly. We then wandered through, looking for somewhere to sit. As we did, at least two other staff members ignored us. We stopped, looked around, and as we then made our way back to the entrance, we noticed two customers nursing coffees and working on their laptops. Ea h was on a separate table, taking up a table for four. That notwithstanding, at no point did any staff suggest we might wait for a table to become free—we’d have been happy to wait. Given the absolutely appalling service, I can’t see us ever going back. We then walked the short distance to the Two Magpies. There, we were treated completely differently. We were greeted as we went to the counter, told that we were in time for brunch and shown to a table. Enough said. Time to sweat the small stuff, I’d suggest."

we were very well versed here and would come back immediately. order and paid directly at the counter. a terrace is also located in the rear area.

Always a warm welcome with the girls serving behind the counter. Food is delicious and they are always happy to accommodate a slight change to your order. Homemade cakes are delicious, I often purchase a few to take home. View menu

A quick bite to eat mid afternoon. My wife had a breakfast muffin and I had a scotch egg two coffees. Everything was tasted great and the coffees were really good. Highly recommend you pop in a give them a try. Plenty of seating inside as well as a lovely sunny courtyard at the back of the building.

Been here a few times over the past few years but each time the experience is a little less impressive. Food selection has decreased and service not as on point as it was. You would normally expect to get your coffee before you have finished eating your food. Probably try elsewhere on our next visit to this lovely area.
