"We were on a family holiday in Hereford and had our Christmas lunch at the Angel 25th Dec 2016. What a great find! We received a lovely warm welcome from all the staff. The relaxed atmosphere was just what we were looking for. Proper food with very generous portions. Would recommend to anyone looking for a cosy, friendly, family orientated pub. Thanks and all the best for a successful year ahead!"

at the angles to my twin birthday the meal was nice and they even put candles in the dessert, which would be a nice note very recommend good eating and friendly staff, so thank you for a beautiful evening we will go again.

Went for a meal lastnight for my 21st birthday! The staff were very lovely welcoming! Even the ones on 4 legs! The food was amazing! they even put birthday candles in my dessert which was a nice touch! Would definately eat here again! Thank you again!

We always have a great welcome at The Angel. Simple menu and very well cooked and presented food. Good value, fantastic service. Lovely wines and excellent Wye Valley Brewery Beers. Very reasonable prices, log fires and friendly professional staff. Easy parking. View menu

We visited on Monday night and I ordered the fish and chips, which were the best I've had in a long time. My friends opted for the steak and scampi, and they really enjoyed their meals as well. The atmosphere was fantastic, and the staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend this place!

What a lovely pub! Fabulous wood burner and comfortable sofas! A really nice atmosphere and most importantly fantastic food!! The fillet steak was absolutely beautiful, so much better than Miller and Carter! Delightful deserts that were tasty. Big thanks to Hannah and Dolly our fabulous waitresses!! Shame about the lack of Camembert, the only let down
