"The rooms here are really stunning, feel very luxurious and are surprisingly quiet. Super cosy fireplace downstairs in the pub where you can have breakfast dinner. The location makes it feel really special too, right on the town square. All the amenities you could need on your doorstep. In February it seems a lot of places are closed in the week so the pub downstairs is probably the best option for dinner unless you have a car Walkability: 2 minute walk from the ferry terminal, 2 min walk from the bus stop that can take you to Newport or alum bay. The pub food here is excellent, well above average. The portions are generous, offering great value for money, and everything we tried tasted fantastic. We couldn't have asked for more. Plus, it's dog-friendly, which was a nice bonus for us!

We only visited for a meal, so we can’t comment on the hotel rooms. However, we would definitely return for another meal. The food was of good quality and reasonably priced, and the staff provided excellent service. Overall, we’d rate it: Service: 5, Location: 5.

We had a wonderful evening with delicious food and excellent service! I couldn't find anything to criticize about the service; the staff were friendly and attentive without being intrusive. They graciously offered to move us to a quieter area when things got a bit noisy (it was a Friday night), which we really appreciated. I would definitely return. As for the food and drinks, I ordered the pie and chips. The pie was enormous, and the filling could have easily been reduced by a third. It was very tasty, but I couldn't finish it all. There's also a good selection of wine and beer.
