"I decided to have Sunday dinner at this restaurant based on the positive reviews, but it seems like they are only for the weekday menu. The roast I had was terrible, the worst I've ever had, and I ended up leaving 70% of the meal uneaten. The carrot was extremely hard and the potatoes, which are usually my favorite part of a roast, tasted like they had been boiled and then quickly oven-cooked. It was a very disappointing experience, especially considering the £18 price tag for each roast and an additional £10 spent on extras like cauliflower cheese and stuffing. It's frustrating to waste money on bad food, knowing that I'll likely have to order a takeaway or make something at home instead."

We booked ahead on a October Wednesday lunch time but it turned out to be a quiet day. An ideal lunch stop half way round a walk to see the Woburn Deer Park rutting. The two course lunch menu was good value and desserts were rustled up even though they had run out of the standard items.
