"We couldn't fault the quality of the food or the level of service we received. However, please take notice ALL you restaurant owners. These days there is just too little food on the plate ! If you expect people to pay £17 for a main course then at least have the deceny to put some vegetables on the plate! Vegetables are cheap so why are you not providing them? No excuses! I don't call one small serving of garden peas sufficient vegetables. I know things are tight but they are for us customers too so we have to be choosy now where we dine out. So if you expect a customer to be a repeat customer then don't insult us! I don't know if we'd go back here again, so that should tell the owners of this restaurant all they need to know! Think about it, do something about it or go bust!"

Called in one Saturday afternoon and the place was deserted. Took a while to get a food order in but when it came it was very nice.

Beautiful roast beef Sunday lunch. The beef was cooked to perfection, huge yorkshire puddings. One of the best roast beef Sunday lunches! Excellent service too. View menu

I have never before had a steak and ale pie which had tasteless grey meat in thin grey gravy bulked out with large chunks of white onion. I shan't have it again!

Lovely atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service. They also catered very competently with my wife’s intolerance to sulphate. We will certainly pay another visit when in that part of beautiful North Lincolnshire.

My wife and I, and two friends, called in about mid-afternoon last week for a late lunch. Outside the weather was torrential rain, but inside we experienced a really warm welcome by all staff. The Inn on the Green is a typical country pub, with both a restaurant area and other tables available, as well as a small bar area near the entrance. There was a range of cask ales on offer and a varied menu. It was the first time we'd been there and we all enjoyed our experience. We'll go again. There is also a good sized car park at the rear. When we think about celebrations, or a pint with friends , the Inn on the Green is always our first option, and it never disappoints. From the starter to the dessert the quality and tastes of everything is outstanding, our Sunday Lunch might have been the best meal I have ever been served. Service is always delightful and very professional. Sarah and her team do a great job of making you feel welcome and at home! We live in Ingham and we will always recommend the atmosphere, food and great selection of beers and wines. Bembridge family, Ingham

The landlady is the most rudest women you can think of. We ordered food from the take away menu because we was advised at 8pm that food had finished off the main menu despite saying serve to 830pm. We asked several times could we eat the food at the table as was from take away menu. Was told yes. We had many drinks over several hours and when we went to pay. They charged us double take away price. We obviously queried the bill and was told that it says on a menu that food eaten at table is full price. This wasn't shown to us at the time or explained. Not only that was told by this vile women if we didn't pay she would get someone who would make us. Unbelievably!!. Avoid this pub and disgrace...
