"As we have visited many times before, enjoying good quality food and service, it seemed the perfect place for my birthday meal on Saturday. The meal was ruined by an inexcusable failure to bring the dishes for our small party of four together. First, my starter, a basic salad, arrived several minutes after everyone else's starters. Then, somewhat unbelievably, my main course was also delayed arriving after everyone else's main course. The waitresses were completely blaise, and appeared to have zero understanding of how damaging this was to the whole party's experience. My son had come from Liverpool, my partner from Cheshire and it was such a disappointment for any meal, never mind a special occasion."

Hunters chicken, somewhat disappointed in my meal last night, there was no bacon and most of the sauce had soaked into the horrible wooden board it was served on.

Nice menu, ambiance food well cooked. Steak pie excellent and 'filling '!! Hunters chicken excellent BUT please do away with the wooden board and go vack to a plate. My lovely sauce migrated into the table Not nice!

Another visit and once again the food was excellent as was the service. Some nice and different menu choices from your normal pub classics. Great unusual seafood choices. Glad we found this place, lovely venue and menu choice, hopefully nothing will change

Visited the Inn on the Green last evening. We were greeted well and our drinks order was taken and drinks delivered to our table promptly. The menu board was brought to our table and is very varied. The food was delicious and portions of a good size. Our final verdict? We have already booked to go again!

Had a late and leisurely lunch at this wonderful venue a few miles north of Lincoln. Homely traditional pub with a big welcoming log fire. Staff and other customers were very friendly. Great menu choices. The cod and pie dishes were cooked perfectly and absolutely delicious. We’re already planning our next visit.

Awful experience. Staff are the rudest people I’ve ever met. Visited with my partner and another couple last month. The person who I assume is the landlady is a fine example of how not to talk to customers. Made us feel very unwelcome from the start. Poorly ran, would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. AVOID AVOID AVOID!

I used to spend a lot of time at this pub in the 70s and was happy to see that it has changed a lot since then. The food was excellent and the service was perfectly fine, with friendly staff providing good service. It is a very cozy and welcoming place to be, with reasonable prices. Overall, it is a very friendly and comfortable pub that I would definitely recommend.

We had a lovely three-course meal on a beautiful Friday evening at this restaurant. The menu had a great variety of options suitable for all tastes, and everything was freshly made on site. The beef, mushroom, and bacon pie was outstanding, as well as the cranberry Bakewell served with homemade cranberry ripple ice cream. The restaurant had a cozy atmosphere and a fantastic selection of gins and cask beers. We will definitely be returning in the future.

This traditional village pub exceeded our expectations with its good beer, delicious food, and friendly service. We felt welcomed from the moment we arrived until we left, even though we may have stayed a bit longer than we should have. The menu offers great value for money with a good variety of options. Our party of four enjoyed different mains and desserts, and everyone left satisfied. We will definitely be returning to this establishment. Well done to the staff for providing a wonderful dining experience.
