"Visited this evening with my dog to meet a friend. There was a warm welcome and the Oaken Arms was very dog friendly.Chris and Sophia were really friendly and helpful and brought a bowl of water and treats to my table for my dog. When it came to the bill, Chris helped me to navigate using the app and informed me that I had an offer on there for a free bottle of Prosecco! Great food and service, and very dog friendly"

It's in a lovely countryside location. Nice decor and feel inside. Food was nice but portions looked small. Staff pretty good although a few of the younger ones needed a pep up. All in all we would go back

We had a lovely Sunday roast at the Oaken Arms. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back for another meal soon. Highly recommend for a Sunday roast with friends or family.

We loved the decor, the food was lovely except the mushroom starter, this would've been better if chestnut mushrooms as they tasted slimy. The steak was perfect, the staff were lovely. The only thing that I didn't like was walking through a cloud of cigarette smoke, maybe put smoking area away from entrance. View menu

We had a lovely meal, nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The only thing that I think could have been better was if the drinks were hotter. We had various coffees as part of the mini dessert and hot drink after the meal and the coffees were only warm and went cold before having chance to finish. Otherwise excellent, thank you!

I’ve been to the Oaken Arms many times over the years and always have an enjoyable, delicious meal. The staff are always pleasant, helpful and friendly. They take particular care of me and my food intolerance. Parking is easy and free and there is a comforting, comfortable atmosphere inside. I love the real fire in the winter. For dog owners, it is a dog-friendly venue.
